Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in an aquarium that is 2 diameters and 1 meter high. A remote-controlled hatch can be opened above the aquarium. No personnel are allowed to make any form of contact with the body of water holding SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a Ghostly Grenadier Rattail1. Its length is 27.94cm (11inches) and weighs 8kg (17.63lbs). SCP-XXXX is able to consume varies objects and living organisms 5 times its own size. SCP-XXXX is not able to reproduce or produce any waste after digestion. SCP-XXXX can reach speeds up to 30km/hr. It can consume up to 20kg of objects. After the consumption of any material, it does not gain any nutrients, proteins, or energy and yields steam through an unknown process.
There is a wide variety of platinum cog works, pipes, and other mechanisms not yet identified. Most organs inside a regular aquatic animal are not present inside SCP-XXXX. Addendum XXXX.1: During 5/24/19 8:53 PM in Lake ██████, California, multiple reports of two suspicious individuals releasing a large dark object into the lake resulting in some disappearances and suspicious activity increasing within the surrounding area. An increase of reports covers 3Km south of California and 2Km southeast of California. People have described hearing "ticking and tapping" near said individuals and have been reported a potential terrorist attack.
