Special Containment Procedures: The Foundation currently has little knowledge of how many instances of SCP-XXXX operations are currently at large, and SCP-XXXX-affected individuals are highly contagious and actively hostile, thus meriting Keter classification. Recovered samples of SCP-XXXX-A are to be placed in a refrigerated, reinforced biohazardous material container with a digital lock, which will in turn be stored within the Infectious Agent Vault of Area-12’s Maximum Security Wing. The acquisition of samples of SCP-XXXX-B and SCP-XXXX-C is considered a top operational priority of any raid of SCP-XXXX facilities. In the meantime, research into creating equivalent vaccines and medications to SCP-XXXX-B and -C is ongoing and considered a top R&D priority. All human testing with SCP-XXXX-A is currently suspended until further notice, and access to it is only to be permitted to Level 3 Clearance or above personnel working on vaccines or medication and under authorization from the Area-12 Director.
SCP-XXXX-1 to -5, as well as any future SCP-XXXX-affected individuals, are to be contained in Area-12’s Contagious Specimens wing. Each individual is to be imprisoned in a 5m x 5m x 2m cage, which will contain one bed, one toilet, one small dresser and one small shower for personal grooming. This cage will in turn be housed within a 5m x 15m x 3m hermetically sealed room. The containment room’s entrance will have an airlock for decontamination procedures, and all personnel must wear Class C Biohazard suits, which must be inspected before every entrance into the room. A minimum of four (4) armed security personnel in Class C Biohazard suits are to guard the entrance to an SCP-XXXX-affected individual’s room. Security personnel will be armed with standard rifles and incendiary grenades, and a minimum of one (1) member of the security detail must carry a flamethrower. The room is to be fitted with a biological filtration system and an emergency decontamination system, including chemical and thermal sterilization. Any research or interviews to be conducted on SCP-XXXX-affected individuals require minimum Level 3 Clearance and must receive approval from the Area Director. Special containment procedures unique to each affected individual are described in their description. Affected individuals (except for SCP-XXXX-3, which requires no food) are to be provided with two (2) meals a day, one at 7am and another at 5pm.
Any and all Foundation personnel who are directly exposed to an SCP-XXXX-affected individual’s body fluids are to immediately be put in quarantine and monitored for progress of the anomaly and eventual termination. All exposed equipment and biological material, including the corpses of terminated infected, is to be both chemically neutralized and incinerated. In the case of an SCP-XXXX-affected individual breaching containment, Area-12 is to go into immediate lockdown, all personnel not in the immediate vicinity of the escapee are to be evacuated, and lethal force is authorized. After re-containment, all personnel in the exposed area are to be immediately quarantined, decontaminated tested and observed for possible infection.
Any documents pertaining to SCP-XXXX found in any raid of an operation site or in possession of GOI employees or facilities are to immediately be scanned and sent to a Foundation data processing site as maximum priority for O5 evaluation. Media and internet sites, including the dark web, are to be monitored for any suspicious activity that might indicate an SCP-XXXX operation, and any mention of the word “Orgvital” is to be immediately logged and investigated. On credible intelligence of SCP-XXXX activity, Mobile Task Force Mu-16 ("Bitter Harvesters") will be contacted to conduct field investigation and subsequent raids. If SCP-XXXX-6 is encountered in the field, any operatives are to approach with extreme caution. SCP-XXXX-6 is always suspected to have armed escorts and considered extremely dangerous. While capture is top priority, lethal force is authorized.
Description: SCP-XXXX is the general designation of an organ trafficking operation catering to the rich and powerful. These organs, unlike standard black-market organ harvesting operations, are not acquired through theft and murder, but through the use of a biological agent, designated SCP-XXXX-A (henceforth referred to as “virus””). SCP-XXXX-A is an engineered virus which, when injected into specific organs within a human body, makes the infected human produce multiple redundant copies of the infected organ, effectively allowing for “farming” of said organ.
Biopsies, scans and testing of these cloned organs have proven them to be exceptional, working far beyond the registered peak of human capacity and going so far as to be superhuman. For example, eyes have proven capable of 20/5 vision and slight microscopy, hearts are resistant to fatty build-up and have pumping capacity equivalent to an Olympic athlete, lungs allow breath to be held for over 20 minutes without unconsciousness, livers can metabolize toxins that would prove hepatotoxic to a regular liver, etc. Documentation acquired from the raid of one SCP-XXXX operation site describes two (2) additional agents used in the process of harvesting and selling organs, designated as SCP-XXXX-B and SCP-XXXX-C.
SCP-XXXX-B (henceforth referred to as “vaccine”) is a vaccine to SCP-XXXX-A, used to clean a harvested organ of virus presence, rendering it safe for transplantation. Recipients who are given a vaccine-treated organ assimilate the organ flawlessly and have no ill effects from the transplant. Any organ recipients given an organ not treated with the vaccine will experience catastrophic organ failure within a year as the SCP-XXXX-A virus runs rampant through the whole body, causing [DATA EXPUNGED] and ultimately death. According to the acquired documentation, the vaccine is only effective prior to transplantation. Once an infected organ is transplanted to a human body, the vaccine becomes ineffective, and will outright kill a transplanted human.
SCP-XXXX-C is a medication, designated by documentation obtained from raids on trafficking facilities as “Orgvital”. Orgvital is marketed to organ recipients as an organ anti-rejection medication. However, its actual function is as a suppressant which keeps the virus dormant within the recipient’s system, which must be taken once a week. Once a recipient has been given a virus-infected organ, he/she requires Orgvital to avoid organ failure and eventual [DATA EXPUNGED]. Marshall, Carter & Dark sell Orgvital at a high premium (around $50,000 US Dollars a capsule), they are the only known provider of the medication, and they only sell it to clients who’ve had an organ provided by them. No documentation has been found on why some recipients get healthy organs cleaned by the vaccine while others are given virus-infected organs that require Orgvital, but the predominant theory is that clean organs are given to persons valuable to either the traffickers or MC&D (like major benefactors or high-ranking MC&D personnel) while infected organs are given to people considered mostly expendable by the traffickers and MC&D and Orgvital is used as a source of profot or a form of extortion. Investigation into the link between the trafficking operation and MC&D is ongoing.
The Foundation currently has five (5) SCP-XXXX-affected individuals (henceforth referred to as “donors”) in custody, although documentation recovered from raids describe at least a dozen more. Each donor was injected with SCP-XXXX-A in one particular organ, and they thus produce redundant organs for the purpose of harvest. While this process causes the donors to experience massive disfiguration, they do not seem to exhibit any discomfort. In fact, the opposite is true: donors seem to find the experience intensely pleasurable, and during interviews, they claim to actually be able to feel and sense through their harvested organs within other people. Research into these claims of a possible sympathetic link between donors and recipients is ongoing. Donors are assumed to receive certain other minor mutations from the virus, as not only do they manifest multiple redundant organs, which give them enhanced abilities according to said organs, but they also exhibit superhuman strength and agility, as well as enhanced resistance (but not immunity) to incapacitation through physical or chemical means. All of the donors refuse to give any information about who they were prior to their transformation and of the SCP-XXXX operation, and they reveal very little about their current state. Due to the immense risk of injury, infection and possible breach of containment involved, enhanced interrogation is considered impossible. Documentation found during raids on the organ trafficking operation refers to each of the donors by designations, which will also be used by this documentation for the sake of convenience. The donors were each captured as part of various raids on SCP-XXXX operation facilities across the planet, but all of them have been located near major metropolitan areas (New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Amsterdam, Osaka). A sixth donor (SCP-XXXX-6, designation: "The Brain") was able to breach containment and is currently at large.
