Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:

SCP-XXXX location is to be kept off limits at all times to all class personnel. No personnel are to approach closer than 20 meters from SCP-XXXX. A clear set of painted outlines are to surround SCP-XXXX location, between 45-25 meters away from where it resides, designating the nearest approach zones. All research regarding SCP-XXXX is to be strictly observational.

SCP-XXXX containment area is to be surrounded by a 12 feet tall institutional welded wire security fence. A 20 meters deep 10 feet wide moat is to surround the containment area from within, 5 meters away from the fence. A steel truss bridge is to be built over the moat, allowing the sole passage to the containment area. Any contents gathered inside of the moat are to be cleaned out regularly. The arcing floor of the moat is to be covered by a layer of concrete and any damage is to be repaired in the shortest time possible.

Ground-penetrating radar sensors are to be placed evenly around the containment areas grounds and any detected activity is to initiate an immediate evacuation and lockdown of the containment area. A set of automatic anti-aircraft gun systems are to remain on standby, outside of the fence.

Organisms living within the containment area are to be neutralized on a biweekly basis. Any form of natural or man-made debris is to be cleared away from the grounds. The soil is to be contaminated with a high dosage of pesticidal agents and the containment areas environment is to remain nutrient-free and uninhabitable.

The location of SCP-XXXX site had already been under observation by the foundation for an extensive period of time, of which it was classified during the time of its known existence as normal. The foundation had come inthe knowledge of SCP-XXXX after records (now classified) were found in 1XXX near Square du Temple Paris, speaking of its possible existence. Concern regarding its presence were only raised around 19XX, leading to its containment. Due to the extensive vegetation and secrecy, SCP-XXXX site had been kept undisturbed by the public during the period of its disregard. The full capacities of SCP-XXXX where not discovered until after the 19XX investigation.

Excavation near the containment area has discovered traces of intensive mining operations and that of a late medieval defensive fortification system. Overgrown trenches spanning _ miles in length where located surrounding SCP-XXXX, some _ miles away from its location. These structures were discovered to be abandoned nearly _ years ago, _.

The investigation surrounding the connections of SCP-XXXX within the local region had come up as mostly inconclusive.
