Authors' Resources

Per the greenlighting policy, first-time authors must get concepts reviewed in the Ideas Critique Forum or IRC chatrooms before creating a feedback thread in the Drafts and Critique forum. Draft critique can still be sought via IRC and PM without greenlights.

When you have a draft that you know for sure the audience will like, bring it to Drafts Critique Forum. Please note that the forums move much slower than the chat, and the draft forum moves slower than the ideas forum!

The mainsite-run IRC chatrooms are the most reliable source of real-time critique discussion.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a specialized containment chamber which is split into two by a wall and a 1m thick window. All personnel who enter SCP-XXXX’s half of the room must wear earplugs, earmuffs, or another noise canceling device. Should any humans emerge from SCP-XXXX they are to be interrogated and administered at least Class B amnestics, should any non-humans emerge from SCP-XXXX it is to Be contained immediately.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a black wooden door with many scratches and cuts on it. The door is standard size and will fit into almost any standard doorframe. Anyone coming close to SCP-XXXX will hear the voices of friends, loved ones, or authority figures coming from the other side of the door which will attempt to lure them inside.
