Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX, physical containment is unnecessary. Efforts instead focus on infiltrating and studying the human population of SCP-XXXX-2. Until SCP-XXXX-2 becomes self-sufficient, food, clean water, and raw material are each to be sent into SCP-XXXX-2 biweekly. Positive diplomatic standing with the Foundation is to be ascertained through a mix of propaganda, employee relationships, and bribery.
Volunteer personnel are to be “Adopted” into major households and live peacefully among the community. Adopted persons are to report on relevant research, exploration efforts, and the social health of inhabitants.
To reduce the number of civilians entering SCP-XXXX-2, Foundation-staffed1 “Toll Booths” are to be constructed on all roads leading to SCP-XXXX-2. Toll Booths are to amnesticize visitors. In cases where amnesticization would be impossible, such as civilians born or raised in SCP-XXXX-2, they will be briefed on SCP-XXXX-2’s anomalous properties and sent inside.
As of █/██/2018, residents have been allowed access to a local foundation-controlled set of chatrooms. Monitoring of said chatrooms has proven to be instrumental in gauging general reaction to foundation policies, quieting rebellions, and mapping SCP-XXXX-2.
Standard disinformation techniques are to be applied outside of SCP-XXXX-2.
Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is a spontaneous spatial anomaly affecting an isolated suburb in ██████ County, Oregon (designated SCP-XXXX-2). As of █/██/2016, every door, window, or gateway within SCP-XXXX-2 has been remapped to a certain "partner door" elsewhere in SCP-XXXX-2 - even when this would be spatially impossible. The town is visually identical to its pre-SCP-XXXX-1 self. No doors lead outside.
