Hello, and welcome to the Secured Containment Procedures Foundation, or the SCP Foundation. Here at the SCP Foundation, we do our best to secure anomalies and protect humanity from these threats. Our motto is "Secure, Contain, Protect", relating to our job as an organization and our tasks. Enough with the introduction, and let's get straight into where you fit into this complex organizational structure.
What do we do here at the SCP Foundation? We contain anomalies known as "SCPs" and are secured in containment chambers according to the procedures. Each SCP has a written up procedure of how it should be contained if it ever breaches and daily operations. Their files can be accessed in the archives in your assigned facility, with minimal levels.
In this lesson, we will be learning about the dangers of the SCPs. SCPs are very dangerous, and monstrous creatures that can cause world-ending scenarios if we aren't careful with them. SCPs can be categorized into multiple groups: Safe, Euclid, Keter, Thaumial, Explained and Neutralized.
A safe SCP is one that holds minimal anomalous effects, and do not pose sufficient threat to humanity. However, this does not mean that it is okay for on-site staff to trigger the anomalous effects. Containment is sufficient.
A euclid SCP is one that poses threats to staff, but do not meet sufficient requirements to be classified as Keter. Containment is not always sufficient.
A Keter SCP is one that poses huge threats towards all of humanity and can have huge consequences if all procedures of containment are not followed. Some Keter SCPs cannot be contained fully by the Foundation's current technologies.
Thaumiel, we'll save that once you have a higher clearance.
Explained SCPs are fully understood SCPs and have been deemed safe to humanity. They are to be released from containment.
Neutralized SCPs are ones that have been rid of all anomalous effects through terminal means.
As you can see, these classifications are important to the Foundation to understand the threat level of the SCP, and that all staff are aware. It is important that you do your part in the Foundation and study the classifications. Memorize them so you understand what type of SCP you are dealing with when you see it.
Now, you know what the classifications are. But you're training isn't done. There are many more training videos to be watched, waiting for you. Watch all of these tapes to help you with your career here at the SCP Foundation.
Remember, we are the Secured Containment Procedures Foundation. We secure, contain, protect.

In the following tape, you will be listening to Breach the SCP. Listen carefully and take notes. All information mentioned in this tape is to be kept to yourself and other authorized personnel.
An SCP, one of the most dangerous things mankind and possess in this world. Yet, it comes with great power, and even fortune to the holder. The Chaos Insurgency collects SCPs to begin building this world in our eyes, in our hands. A utopian paradise, that is, where no man has to fear the anomalous, and come in harmony hand in hand with these creatures the SCP Foundation calls "a threat to mankind and the world".
Our ability to harness the power of an SCP is limited, but with due time, we will be able to. In order to continue stashing SCPs in our Installations, we must take them from the SCP Foundation. What does this mean? Well, this means that we must use force to remove SCPs from Foundation facilities and take them to our own. Now, because of how unpredictable an SCP is, it is essential we understand what SCP we are dealing with during the time of a breach.
Let's take the simple SCP 173 for example. In the case you are trying to remove 173, you would obviously lure it out. But doing this with safety is not as simple as it seems. You will have to blink to lure it out. But of course, how long will you be having your eyes shut? This is one of the many questions that will pop up when breaching an SCP.
Remember, breaching an SCP takes lots of work, and energy. Practice your breaching skills in the training room, where AI will simulate a raid on a Foundation facility. Use all you know to successfully eliminate enemies and breach the SCP.
We are the Chaos Insurgency.

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: To Be Determined Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept within a 20m by 20m by 20m chamber, consisting of hard metals such as titanium. Copper coating is to be painted in the chamber to reduce cognitive effects of SCP-XXXX. As for SCP-XXXX, it is to be placed on a podium surrounded by glass. The glass box is to be locked firmly and a keypad is to be programmed into the podium. The keypad will essentially serve as a security measure to prevent further breaches from taking place (See Addendum-XXXX-D).
Because of the nature of SCP-XXXX, security personnel are to keep surveillance on SCP-XXXX. Cameras are to be kept on the corners of the chamber. Class-D are to be sent into the chamber only for testing or to fix one of the cameras in the scenario one breaks down. Testing may only occur under the consent of a Senior Researcher or Level 4 security personnel. The mask may not be worn by Foundation Personnel.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a mold of the Phantom of the Opera mask, believed to be made somewhere in Switzerland during the 1980's. The Phantom of the Opera mask is made out of unknown material, believed to be made out of a mixture of metals, wood and other materials to create this clay. A correlation between SCP-XXXX and SCP-035 is believed to exist, but current research and documents don't prove this conclusion. The mask consists of small spikes on the rim of the mask, that don't cause actual harm until anomalous effects begin to kick in.
The material is believed to be the source of the anomalous effects. Through examination, it has been noted that SCP-XXXX spreads Alpha rays, not harmful enough to cause serious health damage to personnel. However, when worn, the mask will emit Gamma rays towards the host, causing serious radiation poisoning and other cognitive effects. During this process, the host will begin reciting lines of the Phantom of the Opera. Suddenly, the host will stop talking and they begin regaining their consciousness.
During this time, the host will try to take off the mask. Spikes along the rims of the mask will dig and lock onto the subject's face, inflicting major pain onto the subject. Blood along with other unknown fluids will drip out of the subject. Unknown fluids are believed to be from the spikes. Screaming from the host will last between 5-20 minutes. After this period of time, the host will suddenly have a change of conscious. Through testing, it has been shown that SCP-XXXX takes over the host, but acts more of a parasite, draining certain fluids (mainly water) out of the host. (Host is now considered an instance of SCP-XXXX.)
SCP-XXXX seems to talk in a non-organizational way, reciting random numbers in German (see Addendum-XXXX-B). It is currently believed that numbers have no significance, but some believe it is a cipher. SCP-XXXX can communicate with staff, but only talks very little. (see Addendum-XXXX-A).
Addendum-XXXX—A:
Transcript of Interview with SCP-XXXX
First Instance of SCP-XXXX
[BEGIN LOG]
████████: Can you speak?
SCP-XXXX-1: Eins. Eins. Sieben. Neun. Acht. Sechs. Funf. Neun. Swei.
████████: [Sigh] There's no point in an interview if the person being interviewed won't even-
SCP-XXXX-1: Yes, can speak.
████████: [Hesitates before speaking] O-Oh, well… in that case, I'd like to ask a few questions.
SCP-XXXX-1: Sieben. Fier. Understood, proceed then.
████████: So, do you know who SCP-035 is?
SCP-XXXX-1: No correlation. Swei. No relation. Neun. Sieben.
████████: Alright then. Um, next question. If you had the ability to permanently take over a host, what would you do with it?
SCP-XXXX-1: Swei. Swei. Sieben. Funf. Eins. Drei.
[SCP-XXXX-1 continues repeating German numbers. Interview is terminated.]
[END LOG]
Addendum-XXXX-B: German numbers have been found to be somewhat related to the East German radio station, known as the Swedish Rhapsody. A document was found in the location of discovery. Creator was later believed to be an East German intelligence operative.
Addendum-XXXX-C:
