Item #: SCP-XXXX - Wilder Mann
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently housed in research sector 01 at Site 23. SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a standard secure humanoid containment cell with furnishings and decor reminiscent of a 19th century Swiss Chalet.
Only personnel who have passed psychological screening are permitted to interact with SCP-XXXX. It is paramount that no personnel, with extensive knowledge of site security, enter the containment cell due to SCP-XXXX’s ability to psychically assimilate information. This is as a result of incidents in which SCP-XXXX was able to ascertain vital security information and utilise it in an attempt to escape. As a result of SCP-XXXX’s capabilities personnel must be cycled monthly and given class-A amnestics. This is in order to prevent SCP-XXXX from using D-Class personnel as a means of gathering intel. All video surveillance must cease once D-Class personnel have left the containment cell. In order to prevent observing the subject in its hostile form, personnel must also knock first before entering SCP-XXXX's cell.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a cognitohazardous entity approximately 1.9 meters in height and 80kg in weight. SCP-XXXX prefers to take on a vaguely humanoid appearance, bearing resemblance to that of a 19th century costumed festival attendee.
Whilst it may seem as though SCP-XXXX is wearing garments evocative of a Vogel Gryff festival goer, assumed to be from 19th century Switzerland, further investigation into the physiology of SCP-XXXX has concluded that said garments are composed of an extraterrestrial material. The clothes that make up SCP-XXXX’s humanoid form appear to be a full body suit covered in spikes approximately 7.62 cm in length. Extensive research has been able to determine that SCP-XXXX is comprised of an unknown matter however any attempt to collect and properly identify samples of this matter has yielded inconsistent and often incomprehensible results.
Due to the known abilities that SCP-XXXX possesses it is vital that only carefully selected personnel may interact with It. Personnel exhibiting hostile behaviour towards SCP-XXXX whether aggressively or passive aggressively are forbidden to interact with it further. These precautions must be met due to SCP-XXXX’s ability to psychically comprehend intentions and attitudes. As a result of this ability it should be noted that SCP-XXXX may be attempting to gather further information about the cell it is housed in and Site 23 as a whole. We can only assume however as thus far the only way to obtain information on SCP-XXXX’s behaviour and abilities is first hand experience.
SCP-XXXX is capable of vocalisation however it uses almost exclusively these German phrases; “Was war das?”, “Wer ist da?” and “Lass mich in ruh”. Attempts to communicate with SCP-XXXX have so far produced very few results other than the aforementioned German. SCP-XXXX is at its most docile whilst impersonating ordinary human behaviour such as making use of the furnishings and inspecting decor in its cell. Attempts to deprive SCP-XXXX of the luxuries within its cell has resulted in total noncooperation. Although it exhibits human characteristics, this is a means of camouflage. It should be made clear to all personnel working with SCP-XXXX that it wants you to believe it is what it appears to be.
The true form of SCP-XXXX remains unknown to the foundation as descriptions of the entity differ greatly however it has often been described as having an amorphous or non-euclidean structure. Personnel that have observed SCP-XXXX in its "Naked" state are forbidden from interacting with it as research concludes that SCP-XXXX behaves unpredictably in their presence. It is currently unknown whether SCP-XXXX is of sufficient enough intelligence to comprehend its imprisonment and the ongoing research into its origin.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX was discovered during an investigation by field agents in Basel, Switzerland approximately 12km from the city centre. Following a deployment of mobile task forces SCP-XXXX was discovered in an open woodland area circling an extinguished fire pit. Surrounding the pit were crudely sculpted bas-relief depicting a figure resembling SCP-XXXX. The body of a female, 24 was found approximately 6 meters from the fire pit. Due to the nature of the injuries examined on the womans body it is believed to have been due to interaction with SCP-XXXX. The victim suffered severe coagulation in the bloodstream and died as a result of the injuries sustained. Garments taken from the victim include a red hooded robe and a crude wicker mask. Further investigation into a possible cult following is currently underway. Subject was compliant throughout capture and transit with little resistance.
