Special Containment Procedures:SCP-3832 must be locked in a 10x10x10 m size closed room with at least one (1) music diffuser connected to the central power supply, in order to diffuse a continuous sound. Only Level 2 members are allowed to touch SCP-3832, wearing an integral suit in order to not be affected by SCP-3832. If two (2) or more members are accessing SCP-3832, they must have a walkie-talkie INSIDE of their suit to communicate. If the music diffusers stop working, whether it is because of the power supply or the music diffusers themselves, at least two (2) Level 4 members must enter in the room and produce a continuous sound. Each member must visually prevent the other members before taking its breath.
Description:SCP-3832 is a 5 cm length stone that absorbs every sound within 5 meters. If an entity touches SCP-3832, it will be unable to produce any sound, by itself or by collision with another entity. When no sound is absorbed by SCP-3832, its absorption radius will increase, up to 30 meters in 30 minutes. If this cap is reached, SCP-3832 will start to crack. When SCP-3832 is broken (approximatively █ hours after it started to crack), every sound absorbed will be unleashed , causing an intense ████████ followed by a sudden ██████, causing death of every living being around 11 000 km.
Addendum:Some parts of a stone similar to SCP-3832 were found near some dinosaur fossils. SCP-3832 could then be the cause of dinosaur disappearing.
