Description: SCP 5911 is a small residential area, in Naugatuck Connecticut, United States, the neighborhood is described as quiet and has a large number of “Cape Cod” style houses. The area shows no anomalous properties except for the sudden manifestation of several instances of SCP 5911-1.
SCP 5911-1 are small tubes of Mentident brand toothpaste. They only manifest in SCP 5911 and are usually completely empty, or in semi-rare cases, contain a very minuscule amount of toothpaste, matching design, flavor, and oral health productivity to the non-anomalous product. SCP 5011-1 have two anomalous properties, the first is how the manifest, on the third day of any given month, at precisely 11:02 PM Eastern Standard Time, 97 instances of SCP 9511-1 will manifest suddenly out of air. While the objects are manifesting a distant brushing sound similar to a toothbrush will be heard by any human in a range of 1 mile to SCP 5911. The tubes land silently on the sidewalk of the neighborhood. The cap of the object is usually slightly ajar, or very tightly on, only 4 cases have been found with no cap. The second effect is a memetic effect, the symptoms are an increased awareness in one's teeth appearance, and becoming extremely unsure, insecure and unconfident in one's dental health. The foundation has labeled this effect as “dental paranoia.” “Dental paranoia” may become so serious the person affected with the memetic effect and left without treatment of amnestic may become violent when discussing teeth or dentistry.
