Special Containment Procedures:
As of now scp-xxxx must pe stored in a small box, filled with inert gas Neon, under atmospheric pressure, to reduce rate of its natural decay.
Box should be shileded from all possible sources of radiation.
Constant temperature of 1° celsius should be maintained in a box.
Inner walls of the box must be coated in 100% carbon sheets.
Any tests on object are temporaly prohibited. Direct observation prohibited, due to still unidentified nature of an object.
Aquisition report:
On november 7, 1992 as part of operation for aquisition of objects with unidentified behavior agent ██████ aquired toy bear on auction, paying for it 15000$. toy bear said to have age over 500 years.
as well as strange history details.
1823: "girl found a bear on a ruins of a burned house, it had slight burns, but was intact, unlike the house"
1945: "it was found in on a corpse that suffered 163 bullet hits, holding bear with remains of his hand, bear was barely scratched."
Foundation immideately ordered damage tests on a bear and successfully destroyed it.
In 2008 bear was found in Singapore by fisherman in a net full of fish. Local agent successfully secured object and delivered it to local site 11A.

Description:
scp-xxxx looks like a regular toy bear of a blue color, with eyes made of two polished opals. label of production is missing, probably bear is handmade
scp-xxxx is damageable, susceptible to corrosion, easily flammable.
Supposedly after destruction scp-xxxx reappears in random place where humans can find it again.
Any contact with scp-xxxx does no long term or short term, physical, or psychical effect on subject.

D-class subjects are to be asked set of questions PQS#13 before entering chamber with scp-xxxx;
Upon entering chamber subjects are to perform next actions:
1. look into bear's eyes.
2. hug it.
3. speak with it.
4. return.
Upon return subjects are to be asked same set of questions again. and again the next day after test.

Report Summary:
for all subjects answeres remained the same.
Out of 343 reviewed individuals, around 94% have shown abrupt 1-2sec pause prior to answering question #14 - "Who are you?"
Comparison of sensors results before and after exposure, show that delay is normal physiologicaly. every other scan(MRI,EEG,Deep potency scan, atomic structure scan) indicate that humans remain absolutely the same.
Control group interacting with fake object showed no such pause.
Upon asking same questions next day no pause was detected in both groups.
Following this report 9 certified mystics were requested to review new test subjects.
8 reports state that there is no effect on humans.

I see and feel this is the same man, yet i know that this man isnt the one before contact, he will behave and do everything as before, but it is not him anymore.
Consider this: every day you wake up being yourself. What if tomorrow you will wake up being some Jeff? You will have memories of Jeff and body of jeff. You will not even know that you were someone else before. Nobody will notice any difference even you, because you will think that you have always been Jeff.
And if you are transfered back in yourself, same thing will happen, you will think that you have always been yourself, that nothing happened.

Following this report it was decided to use SCP-███ to screen candidates, revealing same result.
Addendum 3, screening by SCP-███:
Procedure: SCP-███ (further referred as "Seer") is ordered to screen test subjects after contact with scp-xxxx
Operator: SCP-███, What do you see?
Seer: A man.
Operator: Who is this man?
Seer: This is D-23423.
Opetaror: Is it the same man that entered this room?
Seer: He is not himself anymore, but he is still him.
Operator: Elaborate.
Seer: [silent]
Operator: Explain why he is not himself.
Seer: [looks into the camera and whispers] he is him, but not self.
Seer: Who or what do you think you owe for your existence? Your name? your Body? Your parents? It is someone else existing now. someone else, not his previous self.
Operator: And what does it mean?
Seer: It is someone else now looking his eyes, hearing his ears, expiriencing his decisions, remembering his memories, existing and being him, and not his previous self anymore.
Operator: Who is it?
Seer: not him, not him.
Operator: Who if not him?
Seer is unresponsive for rest of the session.
Upon returning to its cell Seer's behavior is unusual, mumbling to imself phrases like "not him..", ".. can it be, second?.." ," another, only seat was taken, no places, but here, another..", "..can i be third?..".
Seer is then interrogated, making noises and ignoring interrogators, then silently stops, and says "i can." and remains calm, ignoring any attempts to communicate with it.
SCP-███ became useless for the facility since the incident.

In attempts to prove aforementioned effect unrestricted interrogation procedures of 120 D-class subjects were ordered. Nobody accepted that they are not themselves anymore. 83 died as the result of interrogation. Remaining were █████ by ███ █████████.
Experimentation on individuals with psychic disorders, and or abnormalities yielded same results as with normal subjects. Their interrogation results also remained the same. all subjects were █████ by ███ █████████.
As of now true nature of scp-xxxx remains unknown and its effect on people detectable in short term after contact but unprovable and unusable.
Any contact with scp-xxxx is forbidden until our better understanding of bing oneself, or invention of a device capable of measurement of 'being oneself'.
