Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4744 is to be contained at Site - ██ which has been removed of all buildings and is to constantly be guarded, even during the day. All non-authorised personnel heading in the direction of Site - ██ are to be diverted. Non compliant personnel are to be terminated. Only Foundation Personnel with the clearance level of 3 are allowed to enter Site - ██, but only if they have proper authorisation for the on Site director. The lamp posts at Site - ██ are to be examined every morning for potential breakages. If any more than 3 lamp post are reported broken, flood lights are to be activated.
Description: SCP-4744 is a shadow resembling a humanoid male approximately 5 foot 7. During the day it is observed as SCP-4744 is a normal human shadow, but during the night SCP-4744 becomes a completely new creature of unknown origins. SCP-4744 has the ability to hide in darkness, hence needing to have operational light fixtures at all times. If something comes incontact with SCP-4744, SCP-4744 with make it seem as if it is actually there and not just a shadow in the ground. SCP-4744 will then proceed to charge at the subject, if unable to reach them it will the extend a part of its body and pierce through the them. One case ven involves it extending its ████.
