Special Containment Procedures:SCP-5364 is to be held in a steel containment chamber of 10 m x 10 m x 10 m in site-29. The walls are to be plastered with a homely plaster (chosen by the site director). There must be at least 3 cat-toys¹ in the chamber at all times to keep instances of SCP-5364-1 entertained until adoption or termination. All instances of SCP-5364-1 are to be terminated at around 24 hours after they emerged out of SCP-5364, unless a foundation member volunteers for adoption of an instance of SCP-5364-1.

Description: SCP-5364 is a scratching house made for cats, assumed to be homemade. It's floor plating is 3 m x 2 m and it is 1,5 m high. At the front of SCP-5364 there is a staircase leading up to a hole with a diameter of 35 cm. Next to the staircase there are 2 platforms, both with wool balls hanging from them. Apart from scratch mark, (presumed to be made by cats) there is not a lot of damage to SCP-5364. It is thought to be around 3 years old.

Every 17 hours, 13 minutes and 39 second, an instance of SCP-5364-1 will appear inside SCP-5364. An instance SCP-5364-1 fits the description of a regular domesticated house cat, with as of yet no exceptions. Every instance of SCP-5364-1 is between 2 and 8 years old. The instances can be male or female. It is toughed that SCP-5364 creates these instances of SCP-5364-1 itself, Because there hasn't yet been an instance of SCP-5364-1 that has any scars or signs that show it has used it's body to any degree. This however can be a coincidence, and there is still a possibility that these instances of SCP-5364-1 were teleported into SCP-5364.

+ Test-5364-A

Test A - 06/12/20██

Subject:D-6584

Procedure:D-6584 was ordered to put his arm in SCP-5364 around 5 minutes before an instance of SCP-5364-1 would appear, or termination would follow

Results:When the instance of SCP-5364-1 appeared, the part of the arm of D-6584 that was in SCP-5364 disappeared. The instance of SCP-5364-1 did not show any abnormalities. D-6584 was send to medical bay and employed for further testing.

Analysis:It would seem like all the atoms in SCP-5364 get replaced when a instance of SCP-5364-1 appears. After the test, they did another not noteworthy test that concluded that the air in SCP-5364 also gets replaced. Seeing this evidence, the theory that the cats are teleported would seem more likely. Further testing required.

+ Test-5364-B

Test B - 07/06/20██

Subjects: Instances of SCP-5364-1/SCP-795

Procedure: 3 instances of SCP-5364-1 were to be kept alive for testing. The first instance would be put in an enclosed pool with no sides to rest, so we could test it's endurance. The second and the thirth would be exposed to SCP-795.

Results: The First instance of SCP-5364-1 seemed to like the swimming at first, but after it swam for 4 hours, 16 minutes and 58 seconds, It became unconscious and drowned. When the second instance was exposed to SCP-795, SCP-795 gave the instance it's powers. After the three hours were over, the instance was terminated. When the last instance of SCP-5364-1 was exposed to SCP-795, they started fighting. But before the instance could attack SCP-795, it was turned into a canary and eaten by SCP-795

Analysis:The first instance showed the endurance of a regular domestic house cat and SCP-795 reacted to the instances as it would to any regular cat. It is yet unknown how the instances of SCP-5364-1 react to humans. Further testing required.

+ Test-5364-C

Test C - 06/26/20██

Subject:D-6752

Procedure:D-6752 would be exposed to instances of SCP-5364-1, that before the test were terminated as soon as they appeared(except for Test-5364-B). After 3 instances of SCP-5364-1 were in the containment chamber, D-6752 was instructed to stay with the instances for 24 hours and do task with them, like feeding them and playing with them.

Results:The instances of SCP-5364 did not act different to normal domestic house cats. However when D-6752 was playing with the cats, one of them scratched him. This was ruled out as regular cat behavior

Analysis:The instances of SCP-5364-1 seemed harmless and like normal cats, further solidifying the results of Test-5364-B. From this test on, foundation members can adopt one of the instances of SCP-5364-1 and the termination time for the instances of SCP-5364-1 was prolonged to 24 hours.
