Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to have an outpost placed around it for observational purposes. No civilians allowed within a 2 mile radius of SCP-XXXX and cloaks are to be set up to mask its presence. Attempts to relocate SCP-XXXX have all met with failure. Only Researchers Level 3 and above may view the procedures for recreating SCP-XXXX due to the possible misuse of SCP-XXXX and potential casualty rates.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an unnatural well of gravity located in ███████ ████ in which objects placed within a certain distance from the center of this anomaly will be pulled into the well while ignoring the larger pull of the earth. There is no visible differentiation between the area of effect and the non-anomalous area surrounding it other than the change in gravitational force. This anomaly was discovered when 2 █ year old boys were playing catch in the field where it is located. When accidentally throwing the ball into SCP-XXXX it entered an orbit around SCP-XXXX. Subjects were applied amnestics as well as their families whom they reported this anomaly to.
The way SCP-XXXX functions is that when a mass enters the area of effect of SCP-XXXX, it immediately ignores all other sources of gravity other than SCP-XXXX. Masses within the area still retain their momentum, but act as if all other sources of gravity except SCP-XXXX have vanished from existence. There is no mass at the center of this anomaly except for the objects cast into the zone and yet it has been calculated that the pull of this gravitational well has about 2/3rds the strength of our moon. Keeping this fact in mind it should be noted that despite this, The area effected by SCP-XXXX is only ███ meters in diameter.
Attempts to remove or relocate SCP-XXXX have all met with failure, however, attempts to recreate SCP-XXXX on a smaller scale have been successful by utilizing [PROCEDURE CLASSIFIED]. However these artificial Wells were temporary and unstable, collapsing in on itself and caused [REDACTED] which resulted in Site-██'s West wing to be completely obliterated. Testing terminated. Only Level 3 personnel or higher may view the procedure for recreating SCP-XXXX.
