The following program aired on 02/16/2017 on ESPN6 over the intended broadcast of Sportsnet News.
The broadcast abruptly starts in the middle of the previous program's credit roll. The opening shot is of a dimly-lit boxing ring. Several hundred empty folding chairs surround the ring. There is no music, but occasional shuffling noises and off-camera coughing can be heard. The broadcast remains unchanged for roughly 10 minutes, at which point a male figure donning referee attire climbs into the ring. The figure reaches up and takes hold of a hanging microphone.
Referee: LET'S RUUUUUMMMMBLLLLLE!
Overhead lights suddenly turn on, casting significantly more light onto the ring. Cheers and applause are heard clearly as various humanoid figures manifest onto the previously empty chairs. Some of the figures are observed holding signs with written symbols of unknown origin.
Referee: What a crowd! What a crowd! Amazing! We have a full house in every sense of the word! Tonight's match is already going down in history and it hasn't even begun!
The crowd continues to cheer. The referee walks around and holds his arms above his head, prompting an uproar of applause.
Referee: Well, let's bring out tonight's entertainment then!
The lights all turn off with the exception of a single spotlight aimed at what appears to be an entrance to the building.
Referee: In the red corner, coming in at 726-psi, you might know him as the Fatal Force… If you're a veteran fan, the Indestructible Incorporeal… Come on out, ERWIN "THE ENERGY" SMITH!
An intangible entity appearing to consist of some form of energy in a roughly humanoid shape phases through the door. It appears to be wearing yellow boxing shorts and a pair of boxing gloves. The majority of the audience begins to boo. Several empty popcorn and drink containers are thrown at it, though they phase through the entity.
Referee: Alright, folks, alright. Calm down! Save your voices for the fight! We still have one more to introduce!
The entity phase through the ropes of the boxing ring and takes its place in one of the corners. The spotlight moves to another door on the opposite side of the first entrance.
Referee: In the blue corner… measuring in at just under 13,000-gauss… Actually, no introduction needed! The one, the only, MARKUS "THE MAGNET" CROMER!
The metal door flies off its hinges with extreme force, maiming several of the audience members in its path. The audience erupts into cheerful applause as a large male figure hovers into the building through the doorway. The figure dons similar equipment as its opponent and takes its place in the opposite corner.
Referee: Alright. Normal rules apply here… Fight messy. You both know what the grand prize is.
The referee looks at the figure in the blue corner, then the red corner. The two figures move towards the center of the ring, bump each other's gloves, and move back to their respective corner. A bell is heard being sound.
Referee: AND IT STARTS!
Cromer immediately rushes towards Smith and throws a punch. It's arm and glove are observed phasing into Smith, who suddenly becomes tangible with the arm in it. Cromer vocalize a scream of pain.
Referee: Ooo, it looks like starting aggressive hasn't worked out so well for The Magnet! Energy's got him trapped!
Smith proceeds to repeatedly hit Cromer in the face with its gloves.
Referee: Yikes, that HAS to hurt! The Magent's getting a full three-course meal!
Cromer proceeds to lift its trapped arm, raising Smith above its head before dropping it onto the ground with force. Smith is visibly in pain before becoming intangible and releasing Cromer's arm.
Referee: Incredible! Ab-so-lute-ly incredible! The Magnet's just getting started!
Cromer place its hands on its temples and stares intently at Smith. Smith begins to scream as its "body" appears to be spreading apart.
Referee: Energy's in trouble! The Magnet is demonstrating how he earned the name!
One of the appendages forming Smith's arm is severed. The severed limb appears to rapidly dissolve in the air, leaving behind the glove.
Referee: HE RIPPED OFF HIS ARM! HIS ARM IS GONE!
The crowd cheers wildly. Several audience members begin raising and shaking their signs more frantically.
Referee: Could this be it? Is The Magnet about to-
