Special Containment Procedures: Upon fulfillment of the terms outlined within "Agreement XXXX", SCP-XXXX will be contained in a high-security humanoid containment cell. Following confirmation of containment, the Foundation's mission is to be reverted to Directive-A1.1

Description: SCP-XXXX is a Class III Reality Bender identifying themselves as an individual named "Shepard Fitz". SCP-XXXX currently resembles a Hispanic male of average build and height in their mid-30's. SCP-XXXX is always observed wearing a navy-blue suit, white dress shirt, brown oxford-style shoes, and carrying a briefcase. SCP-XXXX claims to be the sole employee of a general law firm operating under the name "Shepard and Self LLP" in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.2 SCP-XXXX has demonstrated the ability to manifest and demanifest itself and various objects at will, and is capable of producing conditional memetic compulsions.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was originally designated as POI-474 following several legal cases in 2004 during which it provided representation for the defending parties. SCP-XXXX had successfully fought for a not guilty verdict in each case, leading to it gaining a reputation amongst locals as a "miracle lawyer". In each of the trials, however, the evidence presented appeared sufficient enough to rule a guilty verdict, which drew attention from the Foundation. Unable to locate SCP-XXXX, agents began monitoring any new legal cases in the region.

On March 25, 2005, Foundation agents were notified of media reports surrounding the trial of [REDACTED]. Despite an overwhelming amount of evidence connecting him to the crime scene, reports described civil unrest as [REDACTED] was expected to receive a not guilty verdict later that day. MTF-1H76 ("Escorts") was dispatched from Site-65 to the Saskatoon Court House disguised as law enforcement in order to intercept and detain SCP-XXXX for questioning. Upon initial contact, the agents told SCP-XXXX they were there to escort it for questioning on a legal complaint that was received. SCP-XXXX refused to willingly accompany the agents who then attempted to physically restrain it. At this point, SCP-XXXX demanifested within civilian view, resulting in the emergency amnestization of all witnesses by the agents. SCP-XXXX was subsequently assigned it's current designation.

On April 3, 2005, the following proposal was submitted by Site-65 Director Dr. Williams to Regional Director Dr. Atmos.

Form 0725-A: Proposal for Containment Measures

Date Submitted: 04/03/2005
Submitted by: Dr. Williams
Subject: SCP-XXXX

Current Containment Situation: SCP-XXXX is uncontained. Contact was initially made last month but the subject demanifested. Contact has not since been reestablished and its location remains unknown.

Proposal: SCP-XXXX's history of known manifestations appears to demonstrate an observable pattern. The subject manifests around individuals who have committed crimes and are being tried for such. As all attempts at pinpointing where SCP-XXXX will manifest next through active criminal cases have invariably failed, I propose that we actively manipulate this pattern in order to reestablish contact and possibly containment by luring it to us.

For administrative use only:

Status: Approved
Date: 04/04/2005
Authorized Signature: Dr. Atmos

On 04/05/2005, Dr. Williams established testing procedures in order to influence SCP-XXXX's next location of manifestation. Several D-Class personnel with extensive criminal histories were selected for participation.

Personnel Designation Criminal History / Sentence
D-10223 Armed robbery causing bodily injury, assault with a deadly weapon, third-degree murder, tampering with evidence, resisting arrest, providing false statement to a court. Pleaded guilty, sentenced to life with possibility of parole after 25 years.
D-11753 Domestic terrorism, eight counts of first-degree murder, four counts of attempted murder. Pleaded guilty, sentenced to life without the possibility of parole.
D-11833 Two counts of infanticide, domestic assault, assault with a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon causing bodily harm. Pleaded not guilty, sentenced to death by lethal injection, appealed to life without the possibility of parole.

Testing Log A: D-10223 was asked to recount any crimes they remembered comitting. Subject was persuaded by guards to re-sign a confession to their entire criminal history. Subject was returned to their cell. No objects recovered.

Testing Log B: D-11753 refused to cooperate in any manner. Subject was returned to their cell under Disciplinary Protocol A7. No objects recovered.

Testing Log C: D-11833 denied committing any of the crimes it was accused of. When offered evidence (including photos from the crime scene and DNA analysis), subject refused to look at anything presented. D-11833 refused to sign a confession, stating it "didn't kill those kids back then, and didn't kill those kids today". Subject was returned to their cell where SCP-XXXX-1 was recovered by attending researchers.
