Special Containment Procedures SCP-4978 must be eliminated as soon as possible, for high threat of Foundation exposure. SCP-4978 must be contained in a 165 square ft. cell, with absolutely NO access to any sort of electronic exposure. Any unauthorized subject caught conversing with SCP-4793 will be immediately terminated.
Description: SCP-4978 is a humanoid entity, appearing as a 28 year old white male with purple eyes. It is highly aggressive, seeming distressed at points. Creature has been seen at times between 12:00 AM through 1:00 AM curled up at the northeast corner, sometimes sobbing uncontrollably and sometimes whispering to itself. It has not been seen consuming any type of sustenance at any time, live or otherwise. The only form of observation that is authorized to be used is the observation window.
The first instance of SCP-4978 was when an entire town located in [REDACTED] saw a photograph of SCP-4978’s eyes on their mobile phones. After seeing the picture, every person’s head exploded, one family at a time. After testing and research, the results showed that it only had to be one person in a family that had to see it before the entire family was eliminated via the photograph.

SCP-4978: wearing a blindfold, in the west corner of the room.
Dr.[REDACTED]: SCP-4978, take off your blindfold.
SCP-4978: Like I needed your permission, asswipe. Take off its blindfold as instructed before starting to stare at Personnel D-827. Look at me.
D-827: shaking, they lift their head to meet SCP-4978’s eyes.
SCP-4978: Good, now calm down, [REDACTED FOR PROFANITY].
D-827: seems to enter a state of calmness, despite seeming afraid moments before.
SCP-4978: Approaches D-827 before putting a hand on D-827’s forehead you made a mistake testing me, Dr.[REDACTED]. SCP-4978 then seems to use an unknown force to send something through D-827’s head, creating a large hole and effectively killing the subject.

SCP-4978 has been blindfolded for safety concerns
SCP-4978: You’re making me speak first, hm? Another test maybe?
Dr. [REDACTED]: The Foundation and me would like to know just how far the extent of your abilities go.
SCP-4978: Why would I say anything? Just because you want me to? Adorable.
Dr. [REDACTED]: If you do not say anything willfully, then we will have to resort to more forceful means.
SCP-4978: I’m terrified. Listen, [REDACTED], I’m sure that you know that if I were to take off this blindfold, you would be screwed. So, how bout you try something else?Dr. [REDACTED]: frustrated, he silently pulls out a taser, a phone, and a metal figure.
SCP-4878: So this is your play. All right, I’ll bite.
The phone rings after a few moments of silence.
Dr. [REDACTED]: What is this?
SCP-4978: You want to know more about me, right? Then pick up the phone.
Dr. [REDACTED]: hesitantly picks up the phone, answers it, and puts it to his ear.
Several minutes pass before Dr. [REDACTED] moves. He gasps before dropping the phone.
Dr. [REDACTED]: you… oh my god…
SCP-4978: That’s usually the reaction I get. Now could you please remove this god-awful blindfold?
Dr. [REDACTED]: walks to SCP-4978 and lowers the blindfold.
SCP-4978 Good. Now join us, doctor. It lightly touches Dr. [REDACTED] on the forehead, before an unknown force sends something through the doctor’s head, creating a hole.

subject enters SCP-4978’s cell, to which SCP-4978 rips off its blindfold and stares at the subject. The subject immediately looks at SCP-4978.
SCP-4978: quickly, hold the door.
the subject obeys the command, holding the door.
SCP-4978:sprints out, while touching the subject on the forehead while running, effectively killing the subject.
notes: SCP-4978 escaped Foundation custody for a total of five days, causing 349 total casualties. SCP-4978 was found at a graveyard at [REDACTED] and taken back into Foundation custody. No other attempts to escape have been made. An increase in security has been instated, and SCP-4978’s movement has decreased immensely after the incident, only whispering to itself when alone and only moving during tests.
