Description:
SCP-XXXX-1 is a worn reel tape recorder of the soviet era "Юпитер" (Jupiter) brand with standard dimensions of 42x40x18.5 cm with 300 feet of tape installed into both reels. All attempts of removing the tape have been unsuccessful. When SCP-XXXX-1's anomalous effects are inactive, it doesn't exist. SCP-XXXX-1 comes into existence in a selected urban environment. The range of this selection is global and the selection seems to be through the item's awareness of specific targeted individuals living in these urban environments. SCP-XXXX-1 will come into existence at a distance from the target with the shortest distance being 10 cm and the farthest 20 meters. SCP-XXXX-1 appears to be indiscriminate of its location to materialise, with one case where it was sighted in the middle of a busy intersection at . Upon further analysis of the tape, they appear to be unrecorded. Attempts to play the tape produces an unregistered song named "The American Fall" through the repetitive use of the phrase. Analysis of the motifs, instruments, and lyrics revealed that the song was most probably composed during the late 1970s

SCP-XXXX-2, designated "The Operator" is an unknown entity, known only by its voice, propagating from SCP-XXXX-1's speakers. The source of the voice and the method it is transmitted from the speakers is unknown.
