Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-5753 is to be contained in an aquatic tank of 13500 m³ (15m length, 30m width, 30m depth) which is built underground on site-29. This tank is to be filled with briny water with a sodium choloride concentration of no less than 60000 ppm. (6% of concentration). An additional 1% of the water should comprise of several minerals, notably copper,arsenic, lead and others. This mineral composition can be altered for testing purposes with approval of level 3/5753 research personnel.
A large filtering system is installed to A: filter out the excrement SCP-5753 produces, designated as SCP-5753-1, and B: making sure the sodium and mineral levels stay approximately on their respected levels. This system can be accessed in a dry area built in a room next to containment tank. The filtering system for the excrement should be cleaned weekly by approved D-class personnel. The overall filtering system should be checked by an approved technican bi-weekly for a period no longer than 30 minutes.
Any issues with the filtering system should be reported and required maintances should be scheduled and executed after approval by the site administrator. Each maintance task will have a specific timespan and must not last longer.
A concrete access area is constructed next to the containment tank which serves both as a feeding and testing area and circumvent the containment pool. This containment area is accessable by a 20cm thick steel door and can only be opened and closed by the containment staff comprised of the research and security personnel stationed in the monitoring area. The maintance room can be accessed by a secondary door.
All areas area equipped with visual (night-vision and infra-red) and auditory monitoring equipment. Any disfunctional monitoring equipment from the containment pool can be raised and taken to the technical department of site-29.
SCP-5753 should be fed daily with live animals, such as cows, pigs or other any other animals on hand. Although varity is recommend, such as reptiles, fish, large crustaceans or other mammals. SCP-5753 is known to eat humans aswell, although it doesn't seem to do that anymore as it seems to recongize us as it's "feeders". Feeding and cleaning should be done only by approved D-class personnel, this task also has a time limit of 30 minutes and should be done on separate times of the day.
