SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 5x5x5m room with 2 walls,the first wall is to be monitored by cameras without sound,the second wall is a platinum encased iron walled room with no monitoring,level 4 or higher clearance is required to enter,the axe is placed inside hanging from the ceiling by a rope.

DESCRIPTION:
SCP-XXXX is a large 7th century Norwegian axe with engravings on the blade and pommel,the axe has an ancient Norwegian name written in runes on it,any attempt to write the name in a language that isn't ancient Norwegian will result in the writer losing his sanity and he will start to rapidly undergo necrosis whilst alive,the blade will regularly lose its engravings 2 ,during dusk and dawn ,for up to 3 hours when the blade loses its engravings sounds of a ship sailing and heavy breathing can be heard,some people experience hallucinations,such as walls melting,the sounds compel the person who heard it to try and grip it,gripping the sword has extremely painful and drastic consequences,any person who is stopped from gripping the axe is temporarily blinded and loses sanity for up to 2 months.

Firstly,the person loses all of his skin as if he were being flayed,the muscle underneath appears to be burning,the nature of this burn seems chemical,not all victims survive the first stage

Secondly,The person loses sentience and become extremely aggressive causing it to attack everything it with the axe,becoming SCP-XXXX-2,unlike other SCP's this one requires nutrients and will die if it doesn't receive any,SCP-XXXX-2 has an incredible healing factor,it can absorb nutrients through its muscles to heal itself in a manner of minutes,furthermore if water is sprayed on SCP-XXXX-2 skin it will lose the healing factor.

the only way to neutralize SCP-XXXX-2 is to cut off the hand that held or is holding the axe when that happens SCP-XXXX-2 quickly decomposes and its remains disappear to an unknown location,SCP-XXXX-2 has an extreme aversion to light,and will go to any lengths to escape

SCP-XXXX was found in a construction site in [DATA EXPUNGED],Norway.¹²
