Special Containment Procedures: SCP-0 is to be kept in a reinforced, bullet-proof locker with atleast 2 guards on duty at all times. The item can be accessed only by personnel with clearance level 5 to prevent any incident of misuse.
In case of a containment breach all personnel are requested to cover their ears and refrain from using projectile weapons and mechanical equipment.

Description: SCP-0 is a yellow colored brass whistle. The item's anomalous properties take place when a sentient being blows into it.
SCP-0 causes all living beings (except the whistle blower) that hear its noise and all matter within a radius of 10 m to suspend all motion. The noise of SCP-0 can stop falling objects, projectiles, locomoting life forms, and even explosions and nuclear fusion/fission.
Sentient beings appear to be in stasis and have no memories of time they were paused. Any radioactive/glowing object will keep on radiating perpetually with no lose in energy whatsoever.
Anything affected by SCP-0 will instantly stop in its last position and will stay like so unless if the whistle blower blows the whistle again or makes a physical contact with the affected matter.
Blowing the whistle again will cause all matter to reanimate. When reanimated all projectiles and falling objects will go where they were supposed to before being paused. If physical contact is made by any unaffected matter with the affected matter the affected matter will instantly reanimate.
