Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5734 is to be contained in a 5x5x5 centimeter plexiglass box, placed on top of a 2x2x2 meter iron table, inside of a 6x6x6 meter room with 3-centimeter titanium walls. Personnel not accompanied by 2 or more Mobile Task Force units are not permitted to enter the cell, and will be immediately terminated if they do. There is to be a 1-meter trench filled with water placed directly outside of the containment cell.

Description: SCP-5734 is a pint-sized paint container filled with a black, paint-like substance that will take over and kill any living entity that gets within 1 meter of it. Should any personnel be exposed to SCP-5734, it will spread across the body in approximately 8 seconds. After the body is completely engulfed in SCP-5734, it will begin to experience multiple flu-like symptoms, such as 106 degree fever, heavy cough, trouble breathing, eventually leading to total organ failure. Once the unfortunate victim has died, the body will then be completely filled with SCP-5734. At this time, SCP-5734-B has been created, and must be terminated as soon as possible.
