Description: SCP-XXXX is a set of twenty six identical black cubes all 10 cm in length, hight and width with a weight of one kilogram. SCP-XXXX-1 emits a humming like noise at two hundred and fifty hertz and increases the more cubes are within a five meter radius of SCP-XXXX-1. All cubes are a perfect black and any attempts to change the colour of SCP-XXXX have been rendered useless. It is impossible to take any photograph of SCP-XXXX in its original form attempting to do so the camera screen on Which captured the image will irreversibly turn to the same black as the cube. The image or anything containing the image will also become the same black. The size, shape and weight of all the cubes is unchangeable even with reality bending. SCP-XXXX cannot leave our reality or our planet. Removing any of the cubes will result in the cube reapering somewhere on our planet. It is more likely to reappear near large groups of anomalous entity's reasons for this is unknown.
When all cubes of SCP-XXXX are placed with in a five meter radius of the humming cube they combine to form one large 30 cm cube. The mega cube hums above the range of human hearing between approximately thirty to fifty thousand hertz. Any personnel inside of containment with the mega cube report a sharp pain in the back of their neck. After thirty seconds the mega cube begins to crack emitting a bright light. After another thirty seconds the mega cube breaks and momentarily blinds any observer and disintegrating anything within five meters. After the cube breaks in place of the mega cube appears SCP-XXXX-28 a ten feet tall and five feet wide portal. The edges of th portal appears to be pure white and the inside reflects the room that the portal is contained but with inverted colours and no living organisms. The portal can have images taken of it and reverses the effects of having an image of the cubes. Upon creation the portal has ten minutes before it collapses and only the humming cube remains humming at its normal frequency. The rest of the cubes are displaced around the world usually near groups of anomalies. Video footage of the inside of the portal can be sent back through but all physical matter that passes through cannot return.
SCP-XXXX was found away from groups of anomalous entities and was found with all the cubes on pedestals in a cave in the Australian outback. It was found on an expedition by [DATA EXPUNGED]. After they entered the cave and retrieved the cubes the portal was formed. At this point the SCP foundation was informed, arrived and debriefed the explorers. Following the debriefing they were given class A amnestics. The foundation retrieved SCP-XXXX-1 and the rest were found in various facilities. SCP-XXXX has been contained in site-19
Containment procedures: SCP-XXXX-2 to 27 are to be held within a three by three by three meter containment cell in site-19 and are only to be accessed with authorisation from the director of SCP-XXXX's research team or a higher authority. SCP-XXXX-1's containment is to only be opened with authorisation from the site manager of site-19 or a higher authority. In a case of emergency it would theoretically be possible to contain other SCP's within SCP-XXXX-28 but this has never been attempted.
SCP-XXXX-29.
Five months after the cubes were first activated a large black huminoid figure appeared holding SCP-XXXX-1 when it was aproched by facility personal it droped SCP-XXXX-1 and handed the nearest doctor a 50Gb hard drive then started speaking.
I dont have much time none of us do. The hard drive has the information, the darkness is coming. The cubes are the key.
The hard drive contained information on the cubes, origin of the figure and the darkness.
The figure originated from one levle of narrative above ours and used the cubes to travle.
The cubes are not real and are part of a non real dimension and cannot be affected by any thing inside of any layer of narrative.
The darkness was caused when two opposite ends of reality colided causing all realities to be engulfed and merge into one super reality like a reality black hole.The only thing stopping our reailiy and others around it faling into the reality cascade is the presence of the cubes and their anti reality property's.
