Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard anomalous object containment locker.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a small, stuffed children’s toy, approximately 77 cm in length, in the likeness of a crocodile. SCP-XXXX’s anomalous effects manifest when harmed by any sentient being. When struck, it’s hide hardens proportionally to the amount of force applied, absorbing the blow. It has been shown to break knuckles and even stop bullets. After being struck in such a manner, subject will become animate, and attempt to attack and kill the person or being that brought harm to it. Note that SCP-XXXX does not increase in size, but gains the strength and characteristics of a non-anomalous crocodile with the exception of claws, and strangely, the ability to open its mouth. Autopsies have shown that the victim’s death is always by [DATA EXPUNGED].

SCP-XXXX was acquired by the Foundation on 8/17/████ in the town of [DATA EXPUNGED], Texas. after a police case in which a █ year-old girl reported her █ year-old brother starting a fight, and throwing SCP-XXXX at subject. This action caused SCP-XXXX to animate and attack the boy. Police found the boy’s body mutilated in subject’s home.

Results of interviews with the parents of subject over the origin of SCP-XXXX have been determined as inconclusive as both have conflicting stories.

Testing of SCP-XXXX has shown no signs of sapience, and is only sentient during its enraged state. Otherwise, it is completely inanimate and shows no life signs.
