Special containment procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently contained at site-114 in a standard 5x5x3m object containment cell and access to it is restricted to level-3 or higher personnel, no fewer than three may enter at any given time.
No more than one person may enter each segment of SCP-XXXX however both segments must be occupied during use.
SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 are to be kept in close proximity to one and other as to make certain it's anomalous properties function.

Description: SCP-XXXX consists of two 1.5 cubic meter boxes (SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2).
When there is one person in each box and they are given a topic (such as a problem to solve) they will proceed to discuss this topic and come up with the most effective solution they can find using all of the knowledge share between the two as well as information they previously did not have, people under the influence of SCP-XXXX have shown to understand each other regardless of laguage barriers. Additionally individuals in the boxes will age at an accelerated rate with the rate at which they age increasing exponentially the longer they stay within the SCP.
If only one of segment of SCP-XXXX is occupied the occupant’s mental state will decrease exponentially for as long as they are in there and they will begin to mutter incoherently upon exiting the SCP they are prone to suicide by any means possible.

The bodies of both segments of SCP-XXXX are made of an an odd mixed alloy of Tungsten, Inconel and Carbon Steel in a reptilian pattern Damascus, there appears to be no practical reason for this selection of material however it is suspected that they picked materials based on reported strength, along with that it appears that they chose a reptilian pattern Damascus based solely on it’s price and pattern.
The lids of both segments are made entirely out of Bocote (seemingly chosen solely due to it’s ludicrous price), the boxes also open using hydraulics with switches on both the inside and outside of the boxes.
The boxes both have words etched into their lids with the words “Two heads are” being etched into SCP-XXXX-1 and “Better as one” being etched into SCP-XXXX-2.

Subject: D-XXXX-1

D-XXXX-1 was placed in SCP-XXXX-1 for 3 minutes and then released

Seconds after entering the box the subject began muttering incoherently, upon being released D-XXXX-1 charged at a wall and began bashing their head against it seemingly in an attempt to cause harm to itself all the while continuing to mutter, after approximately 40 seconds D-XXXX-1 successfully managed to shatter their cranium causing their next bash to do substantial damage to their brain rendering the subject unconscious and causing them to bleed out.

Result: The termination of D-XXXX-1

The boxes have shown to be capable of inducing some form of madness and wish for death and have therefore been classified as a cognito-hazzard.

+ Discovery log

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered 09/██/201█ in the basement of [REDACTED] where █████ and ███████ █████ (two well known conspiracy theorists) were found dead █████ having died of a stroke while inside SCP-XXXX-1 and ███████ being found with a firearm and having a self-inflicted bullet wound in his head, they both appeared to have aged significantly from when they were last seen.
A search was conducted and incredibly detailed (though not completely accurate) maps of site 51 along with information about a number of anomalies and extranormal events that they theorised to be related to extraterrestrial life were found along with SCP-XXXX.
Their credit history linked back to the manufacturers of the two boxes and their lids as well as a transfer of a large sum of money to a member of the GOI Gamers Against Weed named █████████████.
Mr. ██████ was apprehended and the interview goes as follows.

Interviewed: POI-7014, ██████. Subject displays low level reality altering capabilities common among artists and GAW members.

Interviewer: DR. Gold.

Note: Due to DR. Gold’s bad temper Lt. Walker was ordered to stand guard and attempt to keep him calm.

Dr. Gold: Okay ██████, we would like to ask you a few questions regarding those boxes.

POI-7014: Oh fuck off.

Dr. Gold: Language! I would at least appreciate some formality.

POI-7014: Formality? well maybe I wouldn’t be so pissed off if you assholes hadn’t kidnapped me.

Dr. Gold: You were DETAINED under the suspicion that you had something to do with a certain set of boxes, no one “kidnapped you”.

POI-7014: Sure anything works if you word it like that. Fine whatever get this over with so I can leave.

Dr. Gold: So why would you make boxes that make people go insane? I thought members of your group were trying to stay out of trouble.

POI-7014 appears visibly confused

POI-7014: What the hell are you talking about?

Dr. Gold: Don’t play dumb, those boxes that say “Two heads are better as one”.

POI-7014: They don’t cause people to go insane you, shit for brains. Though the guys I made it for were not exactly what I would call “sane”.

Dr. Gold: Yes it did, after being in there for just a few minutes our test subject started speaking in tongues and bashing his head against the wall.

POI-7014: what? that… I…

Dr. Gold: Don’t play dumb! I don’t know if this is some kind of joke to you but-

Lt. Walker: Gold chill! Calm down.

Dr. Gold is seen leaving the room, the security feed outside shows him pulling a flask out of the inside of his coat and drinking some of it’s contents

Lt. Walker: Sorry about him, he is a bit short tempered. But we really need to know, what are those boxes supposed to do?

POI-7014: Basically if there is a person in either box they become way smarter… like REALLY smart.

Lt. Walker: Wait in either box?

POI-7014: Did you retards not read the goddamn words on the lid?

Dr. Gold walks back in and sits down

Dr. Gold: Something that’s bothering me is that when the boxes were found both of the people who owned them despite being just over 20 looked like they were at least in their late 60s not to mention dead, one was in the box and died of natural causes while the other left his box and shot himself.

POI-7014 stares blankly at Dr. Gold

[There is going to be a few more test logs and what not (because the foundation isn't dumb enough to classify a dangerous SCP they don't understand as Thaumiel) but we haven't gotten around to writing those yet]

Also btw this is a collab project but the other guy is too young to submit to the site (though he'll be old enough by mid fall) so though he will get equal credit for this SCP it's probably going to be posted on my account and I'll link to his once he is old enough.
