Object class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: A vacuum sealed container, approximately 8meters³ of standard stainless steel with a lens array bordering its walls. Said array should produce entangled light in such a way so that light will interfere with itself and its entangled partner. This interference should then be manipulated by means of observation to allow the interference to form a 3-dimensionally lense of the region of space within the vacuum chamber. In accordance with standard operating procedures, all communication to the device is only performed by assigned researchers.

Description: A none-anomalous multi-dimensional device that does not primarily exist in our reality, there is no known method to make physical contact with said device. Without constant detection the object in question would fail to exist in our universe. The only way to attempt to make contact with the device is to force it to interfere with this own reality, causing a physical abnormality to region specific locality. The majority of the device has not existed in our physical dimension however, this requires further probabilistic tampering to control the device beyond what is physically present. There is no image of this device due to the assumption that any truly direct observation of the object would force it to collapse its own wave function.

SCP-XXXX pretains to an extremely fragile object that is of high value to the foundation. The urgency to extract any knowledge from this device prompted foundation research divisions to develop new scientific fields currently undiscovered by the public. The foundation has supported a priority to sustain containment of SCP-XXXX as to allow research to develop new containment measures for dangerous anomalies. The research divisions made due to this device are dedicated to researching omniversal properties and extra dimensional exploration. All of their findings are apart of the SBO¹ to better specialize research and to allow experiments to not interfere with any nearby containment.

Adendum 007: While the original state of SCP-XXXX is unknown, it is currently believed that the previous faction in possession of the device had devised its current condition. When foundation personnel were sent to infiltrate a series of office buildings—a squadron stumbled upon the device. The personnel testified that the previous containment had exploded and anomalously space within the facilities "fell down". Reality anchors were required to preserve the device, but due to long term failures in sustained containment—new measures were devised.

Adendum 084: The SBO has reported a missing facility in sector ██. The SBO has also reported a number of breaches after ███████, ████. There were no known signs of entry or extensive damage. Foundation personnel have been sent to investigate.

Expermiment 1

The Foundation has given us the offer to perform experiments with a real reality bender. Previously I didn't think they'd trust my division with anything above G-class threats, but here we are. I'm personally glad that they are finding us more interesting for their purposes.

I am the division Director and for management concerns I will be overseeing this and any future experiments as I see fit.

Experiment 2

The previous experiment was somewhat expected. I suggested that the team of researchs dedicated to comunicating with the SCP should find a better way to communicate with it. They contrived a way to make a computer communicate with the device which should prevent any more reality anchors from catching on fire.

A high pitch barrage of overlapping sound waves begin to propagate the facility.

A singularity appears two floors above containment in the office section of the facilities.

Said singularity is estimated to be one one-hundred-billionth of a gram and does not behave like an object, but like an abstraction point in reality.

The office was not in use however, until a worker attempted to access supplies and was startled by the vacuum and the singularity. He had proceeded to informed the rest of his department and the research team.

Experiment 3

My team have been studying theoretical higher dimensional physics and records from our older reality benders and seem to believe they understand what language SCP-XXXX speaks. I already saw what they did and I still don't understand it, but these records are to help with further research after us.

My team seems to believe it reads locality using particle states as a language. Regardless they are requesting anti-matter to continue testing and I have to request for more funding to get how much they need for the next test.

Damage is minimal and the device stops responding as well as the singularity disappearing.

Experiment 4

The request for anti-matter was accepted, but the foundation is going to directly provide it. I found that strange, but who knows. We did however get access to a small super computer that will be constantly on standby for this project and a new partial launcher or reciprocator. My team has given me a list of materials they may need for the future, particularly Dr. Cilica addressed me on this topic. She might be a good candidate to lead this project.

Experiment 5

Containment was redesigned, using the reality anchors as apart of containment rather than for safety. They're used to assist with reality lensing. The array around it should also now be able to handle more complex instructions. This is beneficial because my team was excited to show me their 3-d modeling software using the same particle coordinates as before. This should make the use of SCP-XXXX less unpredictable.

The subject(a steel poll) was defined and the device was prompted.

The entire poll faded to grey then black.

Before vanishing contact was attempted using an aluminum rod.

Said rod dissolved on contact and the subject proliferated where contact was made.

It had taken 11 minutes for the subject to completely vanish and to halt all properties.

Experiment 6

The reality anchors needed adjustment and there are new safety measures. Such as using a testing room and standby reality anchors. After the previous experiment someone thinks they can bring things back. She has a plan, due to what she calls locality imprints there might be a way to reverse the effects of SCP-XXXX.

A researcher entires the testing room and proceeds to open the subject and consumes the beverage.

Junior Researcher Fredrick: It tastes stale, but at least it's still cold.

Notes

Researcher Fredrick was reprimanded and the assisting computer had undergone diagnostics for 30 minutes. This is due to the fact that there was approximately 0.37 seconds of perceived nonexistence where the device nor the computer was active. It is unknown if there may have been unknown variables.

Experiment 17

"We are not Gods, this is just science. It might be science related to a God, but still. " - Junior Researcher █████
I keep this in mind when we test. The last experiment has taken a toll on my team and resulted in extravagant damage including the loss of some of my team, including █████. I have been overseeing this reasearch for some time, but what we are doing now is just horrible. I thought we were destroying matter through anomalous means, but we all were fooled. You see after the foundation discovered the devices property to bring things back from nonexistence they gave us a directive to begin living testing.

We had attempted to halt the live experiments and proceed with understanding its effects on reality, but the foundation proved to be persistent. We argued to not use human test subjects previously and they agreed to choice animals, but due to successes they told us to proceed with human testing. These are our results:

D-Class: Yeah, ok.

The device is prompted to performs its primary function and a separate computer begins scanning the room. The D-Class is picked out by the computer and the device makes a sawtooth wave humming noise until the D-Class vanishes.

A few moments pass and the D-class reappears. As an autopsy found he is unharmed in any way. He had succumbed to the same sort of paralysis as the other living subjects had. Bleached skin, scorned cornea, dissolved hair, muscular atrophy, and a noted metabolic slow down.

Hours later an anomalous Nintendo DS light was used to communicate with the D-Class through an on board program of "picto-chat". This was used due to the D-Class's failure to cooperate. The following is what resulted:

Dr. Cilica: Hello ██████. Are you really still alive in there?

D-Class: Where the hell am I?

Dr. Cilica: Please ██████, do you remember anything about your time after the experiment began?

D-Class: Oh… that.

Dr. Cilica: Tell me what happened to you, why are you stuck like this?

D-Class: It's like I was blind or something and I can't feel.
D-Class: I was cold everywhere, but not. It's like everything was the same.
D-Class: Before I could feel myself being pulled apart.

Dr. Cilicia: Can you elaborate? Why can't you move now?

D-Class: Oh God why can't I move, am I stuck here?
D-Class: Could you not take me back?
D-Class: I heard something before, like bells humming. Do you know what that is?

Dr. Cilica: No, no I don't know what that is. Thank you for cooperating.

D-Class: I'm scare… please help me!

Dr. Cilica: I can't do that, is there anything you'd like to know?

D-class: Am I dead?

Dr. Cilica: No.

D-class: Am I still alive?

Dr. Cilica: No, I'm sorry.

Conclusion

The device seems to not make objects seize to exist, but instead it either places their reality into none existence or any portion of existence effected becomes a universe enclosed onto itself.

Experiment 23

After performing two experiments that were not favorable by the overseer my research division will slowly be replaced by researchers from the foundation. There have been some in my division who have voiced their concerns, but the ones that were reported were terminated. The pair of foundation researchers are experienced in experimenting with SCP's, but only one of them has experimented with inanimate anomalous objects and neither have seen reality benders. My facility was prompted to train them and to direct what regulations should be made.

We were told we needed to begin testing on larger spaces with the device. Our facility actually agreed to this, but we requested to use our own drones for the experiment. It turns out the researchers sent to us also brought ten D-Class with them and our supervisor informed us they'd rather us test with them. My team was dumbfounded by this, but a suggestion from the foundation is never just a suggestion.

We do not have a transcript of the experiment, but there are logs. The target log is as follows;

17:22 The device was prompted. The assisting computer defines the volume of a room that is 96meters³. A humming proceeds to ring through the facility.

17:22 Two D-class are guided into the designated room and are instructed to wait.

17:25 The D-Class vanish. The lights in the room flash and brighten for 10 seconds before burning out. The room Becomes a powerful vacuum and the observation glass buckles.

17:26 The two D-Class return. The two D-Class appear to have been levitating and both show a large velocity opposed to each other.

17:28 After analysis of their bodies, both D-Class appear to have minor damage due to hitting a blunt object assumed to be the wall. One D-Class had minor lacerations seemingly caused by burns of some kind when they returned. Both D-Class had bleached skin with cause(s) unknown.

17:42 One D-Class had survived the circumstance. The other D-Class resumed an unconscious and paralyzed state.

17:50 The meeting room is repurposed for interrogation and an interview of the surviving D-Class begins.

17:58 A researcher is forcibly removed from the meeting room.

18:03 A researcher is seen leaving the meeting room with bandages over their head and accompanied with staff. After communicating with staff they proceed to start running out of the building and leave the premises.

18:10 The D-Class stumbles out of the meeting room and a staff memeber helps them into a hallway.

Our facilities aren't meant for this kind of experimentation, so any conclusions you might hear from this couldn't be too accurate. This was really just a directive, so preferably the next experiment wouldn't have this draw back. Well to get to the point this document contains the only audio logs we have, it is as follows;

D-Class: Um… yeah I think so. Like wind chimes, but… constantly. If that makes sense.

(Incoherent shouting, shuffling over carpeting and pacified grunts)

Dr. Cilica: Get them out of here and clean him up!
(Door opening and carpet skidding)

Dr. Cilica: Okay, can you tell me if you felt anything in there. Like temperature or if you lost your reference point with any of your senses.

D-Class: Yeah. I didn't feel cold really, but I couldn't feel any of my limbs. Like everything was numb.

Dr. Cilica: Alright, that's fascinating. Well can you tell me why your eyes were closed.

D-Class: I think I blinked when that thing started.

Dr. Cilica: Why didn't you open them again?

D-Class: I couldn't, it was like I was floating in glue or something. Time felt slower and everything felt thicker like I was getting bigger.

Dr. Cilica: Thank you, I might have more questions for you later.
(Several foot steps over carpet and a door opening)

D-Class: Are you going to talk with the other guy?

Dr. Cilica: No. He did not survive reemergence.

(D-Class aggressively begins crying)
D-Class: I just saw them… they… the… heh eh …
(Hyper ventilated breathing)

Dr. Cilica: I know it might be disheartening to have just met someone and for them to be dead without you even knowing, but—
(Door closing)
D-Class: No you don't get it, I saw them in there!

Dr. Cilica: What do you mean? If you're saying you saw him, why didn't you say this before? That's an incredibly important detail of your experience.

D-Class: I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know!

Dr. Cilica: ████, can you please now tell me what you saw exactly.

D-Class: It was only for a second maybe. I had my eyes open slightly and all I could see was that other guy and the light. It's like the darkness was bight and even brighter in the corners.

Dr. Cilica: The darkness was bright? Can you elaborate and if not can you tell me what startled you so much about ██████ body?

D-Class: My eyes were almost closed all I noticed was that… he was standing on nothing and… breaking. Everything else was black, but it burned my eyes to see it.

Dr. Cilica: What do you mean breaking?

D-Class: It was weird, I could see through him and see the black light piercing through and for some reason he was losing color or fading to a red-ish grey.

Dr. Cilica: Okay, do you remember anything else? Preferably after what you've already said.

D-Class: Only a bright white flash and a ceiling.

Dr. Cilica: The ceiling of the of the interrogation room?

D-Class: Yes.

Voyager Perposal

After negotiating with the division supervisor we have significantly increased funding and are able to manufacture our own machinery. The funding however was as informed to us going to be irregular and we were not going to get further funding for some time after this month. Bureaucracy is important and all, but I feel like they're laughing at us.None the less my team had manufactured a vehicle designed with the intent to survive in the nonexistent state that SCP-XXXX places a subject in.

The vehicle uses a modified template of SCP-XXXX in tandem with the Xero partial reciprocator² to communicate with the SCP instance held on board. The intent is to use the instance of SCP-XXXX to modify spacetime around the vehicle while under nonexistence. The vehicle is designed with all of the effects of nonexistence in mind, metallic glass making up several layers of photoreceptic filters as well as an illuminous array across the hull and glass of the vehicle. The majority of the vehicle however is aesthetic and only to allow passengers some comfort, this includes the observation window. There is a sensory array derived from Xero field technology on board the vehicle to allow for proper detection out side of the vehicle and partly outside of existence.

Omniversal Expansion 1

After discovering a way to traverse nonexistence we were told to set up an outpost if possible. The previous perposal was created for that purpose, but we do know that the real goal is to develop a foundation base in that void. I don't know why the foundation wants to expand into that, but the goal of my team is to find something in there. The most likely thing in there is a universe or unknown energies making it a bit bigger of a goal.

It is unknown what happened to their ship. It is presumed that their mission is a failure. The containment of SCP-XXXX will remain in containment by SBO for the remainder of this month. 1. Sea Board Oblivion, is a branch of the Foundation with many out reach organizations dedicated to natural anomalies. The purpose of this branch is to make advancements in any reality based technologies the foundation may find unreliable.

2. A device capable of transmitting and receiving partials in the state of wave, local remnant, or solid partial. This device is capable of higher dimensional communication without properly persisting outside of a 3-dimensional space-time. It isn't unknown how this device was manufactured.
