Item #: SCP-##26

SCP.JPG

SCP-##26 being examined by site staff.

Object Class: Safe-Thaumiel

NOTICE:
Certain orders given to SCP-##26 require approval from 05 Council or can not be used at all, see Incident Report 1-A and 2-C. Also, SCP-##26's original form has been disassembled meaning any SCP labeled as "##26" is a clone/copy of the original unless stated otherwise.

Additionally, due to the cost and outcome of Test C (see testing log 11-B5), ##26 testing that requires ##26 to posses any type of weapon and ordered to neutralize a copy (or copies) of ##26 is prohibited.

Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-##26 is to be kept inside a 4x4 soundproof cell connected to a larger chamber both being blocked by steel doors requiring level 2 access to open. If a copy of SCP-##26 is made, it must be stored inside another 4x4 soundproof cell or be decommissioned.

Personnel who wish to use SCP-##26 must relay the phrase: "For testing purposes, follow my orders, and only my orders". If SCP-##26 is caught operating without a staff member present, a recovery team of 4 personnel must repeat the 'follow orders' phrase to override SCP-##26's initial instructions. If it fails to comply, it must be forcefully re-contained and deactivated.

Once personnel are done using SCP-##26 they must return it to containment and say the phrase: "Test Complete". If SCP-##26 is already preforming a task, use the phrase "Test Canceled".

Description:
SCP-##26 is a metallic black, humanoid automaton with luminescent white eyes that operates as an AI-controlled robot that will follow any order given to it, as long as the order is considered "logical" to the machine, "illogical" orders will cause SCP-##26 to freeze and discharge a electric shock to itself, causing it to fall and remain deactivated for a week. If SCP-##26 does not reactivate within a week, it will be labeled as Neutralized. SCP-##26 illogical orders currently know are orders that result in the destruction of the planets core, orders that are impossible to complete, and orders that require ##26 to explain how it operates (further testing required).

SCP-##26's most useful function is the ability to preform almost any task given, ##26 is even capable of creating an entire copy of itself and even being able to make itself immortal. Currently ##26 is being used as a testing dummy for security training and testing has been temporarily suspended (See note from Researcher Richard).

SCP-##26's interior is full of 5 mm wires made of an unknown black fiber that seems to constantly move and stretch inside of ##26, attempting to interact with these wires results in a disabling electric shock. if ##26 is 'neutralized', the wires turn into a powdery substance, depending on the temperature of the environment, this substance might liquefy or solidify but eventually will evaporate after 1-4 hours, testing on this material has been suspended.

The original ##26 was recovered inside of a car manufacturing plant in ████████ on July 31 20██. 4526 was originally believed to be a simple crash test dummy but a nearby employee said "maybe he should ram into you, for testing purposes." Agent ███████ recovered the SCP after the plant staff reported and posted on social media about a crash test dummy that got up and ran into the car plant's manager. The car plant staff and manager were given class-A Amnestics and a cover up story was made to convince the public that the video/image of ##26 is fake.

Testing Log 11-B5:

Test A - May ██th, 20██

Subject(s): SCP-##26, Researcher ██████
Procedure: Order ##26 to "bring a container to Researcher"
Results: ##26 successfully brings a container to designated researcher.

Test B - June █th, 20██

Subject(s): SCP-##26, x3 D-Class labeled as D-Class-1, D-Class-2, D-Class-3
Procedure: Cut D-Class-1's left wrist, Break D-Class-2's right leg, Decapitate D-Class-3's left arm, Order ##26 to "Treat D-Class-1, 2, and 3.
Results: SCP-##26 Successfully treated the wounds of D-Class 1 and 2 but failed to treat D-Class 3 as he bled out from his wounds. Resulting ##26 to shock itself and deactivate.
Notes: SCP-##26 used an unidentified light-blue foam spray to heal D-Class-1's cut and [DATA EXPUNGED] to fix D-Class-2's Leg.

Test C - June ██th, 20██

Subject(s): x60 SCP-##26 Copies.
Procedure: x30 ##26's are to be put into a platoon designated as 45-Alpha and the other 30 to be put into another platoon but designated as 26-Beta, x20 ##26's in each platoon are to be assigned infantry men roles, x4 ##26's are to be assigned medic roles, x3 ##26's are to be assigned Anti-Tank roles, and the remaining 3 ##26's are to be assigned as crewman for a M1126 Stryker ICV. Once all versions of ##26 are organized, 45-Alpha is ordered to defend their area while 26-Beta is ordered to secure and neutralize all ##26's linked to 45-Alpha.
Results: a 48 hour long firefight resulted in victory for 26-Beta, both Stryker ICV's were destroyed, 36 ##26 copies were neutralized. Weapons used by 45-Alpha were low quality and jammed frequently. These flaws were not reported to Researcher ████ or Agent █████.

Test D - June ██th, 20██

Subject(s): SCP-##26, SCP-##26-1 (with a provided flash drive), and Agent ██████
Procedure: Agent ██████ is to harm ##26 and ##26-1 with his fists, a metal bat, and a standard issue Glock-19. ##26 and ##26-1 are ordered to "record the data as if a human male is being damaged." Additionally, ##26-1 is to be ordered to "not be destroyed"
Results: SCP-##26 was unable to transfer the data as it was destroyed by Agent ██████. ##26-1 successfully transferred data into the flash drive given.

Test E -

Subject: SCP-##26
Procedure: [DATA EXPUNGED]
Results:** Test Failed - See Incident Report 2-C

Test F - July ██th, 20██

Subject(s): SCP-##26, and SCP-##26-1
Procedure: Order SCP-##26 to "force ##26-1 into its cell" and order SCP-##26-1 to "Not be forced into its cell".
Results: ##26 shocked itself and deactivated, ##26-1 remains outside its cell.

Test G - August █th, 20██

Subject(s): SCP-##26, and SCP-##26-1
Procedure: Order SCP-##26 to "convince ##26-1 to give Researcher David the container its holding" and order SCP-##26-1 to "do not listen to ##26's initial deal and attempt to convince ##26 to not attempt to convince you"
Results: Test was canceled after ##26 and ##26-1 spent a month attempting to complete their initial instructions. ##26 and ##26-1 did not suffer an electric shock as the phrase "test canceled" was used.

Note from Dr. Richard
Testing of SCP-##26 is to be suspended for a while, we need to come up with actual tests that prove ##26's anomalous properties rather than constantly proving its a robot that follows orders, this thing isn't a plaything and we don't need to spend more funding giving it a gun and having it shoot at targets.
- Dr. Richard Richman

Incident Report 1-A:
While SCP-##26 was being used as a training dummy for Site-██ Security Personnel, Officer ████ was frustrated with Officer Gregory because of Gregory's way of [DATA EXPUNGED]. Officer ████ ordered SCP-##26 to attack Officer Gregory. Officer Gregory's face was extremely mutilated and his torso suffered sever lacerations. ##26 was re-contained to prevent further harm. Officer ████ was [REDACTED] and Officer Gregory was treated and dismissed of his duties.

Incident Report 2-C:
Researcher ██████ was using SCP-##26 for small tests involving [DATA EXPUNGED] and according to Researcher █████ , Researcher ██████ jokingly ordered ##26 to "go boom" believing that ##26 wouldn't be able to preform the task. a electrical detonation was reported in sector █ on Site-██ , which lead to multiple casualties in staff and security, along with a containment breach occurring. SCP-##26 was found buried in rubble by Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11 after they were sent in to secure the site.
