Agent Purple: SCP-4073

Subject #: SCP-4073

Object Class: Keter

Special containment procedures: SCP-4073 is to be kept in a 50 by 50 meter concrete containment unit, having only one means of entry and exit, with furnishings equivalent to that of the average Victorian Era household, within sector-39 of site-88.

SCP-4073 is to be given three meals daily, all having approximately 5-6 hours between each feeding, all between the hours of 7:00 and 20:00. Meals are to be administered via feeding tube located just beneath SCP-4073’s mask’s primary air filter. SCP-4073 is to be kept under constant surveillance by no less than three A-class personnel at any given time, as to avoid potential inter-dimensional escape. A form of housekeeping is to be provided once daily.

With the exception of Dr. Whitman, Dr. Miles, and Dr. ██████; under no circumstances is Foundation faculty to come into direct contact with SCP-4073. Any instance of questioning for SCP-4073 may only be performed by any A-class personnel with level-3 clearance or higher, and must first be discussed with Dr. Whitman, and Dr. ██████ before an instance of questioning can be performed.

Description: SCP-4073 is self-identified 35 year old Dr. Cylus Benjamin Maxwell, however, when researching the name, hospital records found a Cylus Benjamin Maxwell that had undergone psychiatric treatment for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder at Gilliard Hospital in Miles City, Montana. Reports show that, when a nurse came in for Maxwell’s scheduled feeding, he was found dead by auto asphyxiation, with the IV drip tied around his neck. A DNA sample from SCP-4073 reveals an identical genetic makeup of the deceased patient.

SCP-4073 is an entity seemingly indistinguishable from homosapiens, being approximately 189 centimeters tall, weighing approximately 113.7 kilograms, having ivory colored skin, and cowlicked, brown hair.

SCP-4073’s true facial features are unknown, as its face is concealed behind, what looks to be, a specialized gas mask made of brass and iron that appears to be grafted to the front half of SCP-4073’s skull. X-rays taken of SCP-4073 reveal five, 8 centimeter-long rivets burrowing through SCP-4073’s skull tissue, and frontal lobe. It claims, “it is the only way we can breathe the infinite atmospheres”.

SCP-4073’s attire, including the mask, appears to be reminiscent of Victorian Age steampunk, with its entire right arm being made up of cybernetics, comprised mostly of brass piping; pistons; gears; and a green, liquid substance not traceable to anything within our universe.

SCP-4073 wears a satchel containing a large notebook bound by multiple brass locks, all requiring different keys. The notebook is filled with rough sketches of different entities it claims to have discovered throughout its journeys. The notebook seems to infinitely add more pages behind the last one every few seconds, each page containing a new sketch of a new, never before seen entity.

For its anomalous properties, the notebook has been dubbed “SCP-4073-1”, and classified under “Safe”. SCP-4073-1 is currently held in storage facility ████, on site-19.

SCP-4073 has a wide variety of simple, brass and iron tumbler lock keys hanging from multiple locations across its body and wardrobe, claiming they are “keys to other worlds”.

For their anomalous properties, the keys have collectively been dubbed “SCP-4073-2”, and are currently classified under “Safe”. Similar to SCP-4073-1, new developments of SCP-4073-2 have been documented to appear on SCP-4073’s wardrobe even after confiscation, every few seconds. For this reason, those performing surveillance on SCP-4073 are to document new entities developing, and immediately confiscate said entities to prevent inter-dimensional escape. Testing of the keys has been authorized in order to discover more about their anomalous properties. All of SCP-4073-2 are to be researched and tested ONLY in sector-██ of site-19.
