Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a secure room of Site-███.
It is to be constantly watched by security cameras. SCP-XXXX is in a bulletproof glass box inside of the secure room. If SCP-XXXX is seen outside of its containment it is to be destroyed immediately via burning it. If personnel are required to move it or touch it for any reason they are required to wear heavy duty gloves as this blocks the effects of SCP-XXXX. if SCP-XXXX touches the skin of personnel they are to be decontaminated within 5 minutes of coming into contact with SCP-XXXX. The containment area should be kept below 37 degrees celsius if it is higher than this then SCP-XXXX will spread by melting after its melted it retains anomalous properties but is harder to maintain because of it now being a liquid.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a regular yellow crayon with the label partially torn.SCP-XXXX was originally found at ██████, Nebraska it was located in a regular pack of crayons. After testing it has been confirmed no other crayons in the pack have anomalous properties. It has been observed that SCP-XXX can teleport but only as far as approximately 0.3048 meters
When SCP-XXXX comes into contact with human anatomy the body will go into a transformation process. This process usually takes from an hour to an hour and 30 minutes. During the process the body will contort in ways not humanly possible. When the transformation is done the person will be left with their body completely turned inside out. They will not die however until a 24 hour period is up. After the 24 hours are up the person will immediately drop to the floor and expire. Then ██████ Starts spewing out of the body. After this the person will become an exact copy of SCP-XXXX retaining the anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX. The person who dies can feel pain throughout the entire experience
Addendum SCP-XXXX-1: The following is the result of an experiment done involving SCP-XXXX:
Dr.█████████: Please enter the containment of SCP-XXXX
D-8950 enters SCP-XXXX’s containment room
Dr█████████: Now remove the glass container.
D-8950 removes the glass box encasing SCP-XXXX
Dr█████████: You have been given a piece of paper please use SCP-XXXX to draw an image.
D-8950 picks up SCP-XXXX but before they can use it to draw the D-Class starts screaming in pain.
D-8950: HELP ME!! HELP! HELP!
D-8950’s stomach rips open and his body starts to contort and bleed.
After about an hour the D-Class has been turned completely inside out but he can still talk and be alive.
Dr█████████:Leave him in the room I want to see what happens.
After 24 hours D-8950 finally expires.
D-8950 then turns into an exact copy of SCP-XXXX
__Test A -11-██-2011 __
Subject: SCP-XXXX
Procedure: The Subject’s containment is to have the temperature raised above 37 degrees celsius. Following this a D-Class is to come into contact with what remains of SCP-XXXX
Results: SCP-XXXX appeared to have melted leaving liquid paraffin wax and a small metal ball in the center when the D-Class came in contact with it the normal happenings occurred but the transformation was much slower taking around 5 hours. After a few minutes SCP-XXXX returned to its normal shape.
Analysis: Being melted weakens the anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX. There seems to be a “core” to SCP-XXXX perhaps this is where the anomalous properties come from. Unless burned by fire instead of a heater or blow dryer it cannot be destroyed. Further testing will be done on the “core”
__Test B -1-█-2012 __
Subject: SCP-XXXX
Procedure: SCP-XXXX is to be melted and the metal ball inside will have a chemical analysis done on it. After this a tracking device will be attached to the metal ball.
Results: After chemical analysis the metal ball is identified as brass. The metal ball started teleporting after the analysis. It appears that the anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX don't happen with this “core” however it does retain teleportation.
Analysis: If the core is removed SCP-XXXX can no longer teleport or reform but cut can retain its anomalous properties
