Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 10 foot by 10 foot containment cell, with a ceiling height of 12 feet to keep it’s large collection of medical books, which was given due to good behaviour, also requested was a bed, desk and lamp as so it can read it’s books before it’s designated resting time, which was also permitted. SCP-XXXX rests for up to 8 hours, showers, has it’s breakfast and then proceeds to read until it is called upon by the Foundation for it’s daily testing regiment.

Description: SCP-XXXX or it’s preferred title, Dr. Abe Apessen, is a chimpanzee with the ability of higher cognitive functions such as; speech, critical and constructive thinking, understanding of advanced problem solving as to the comprehension of Medical Sciences, which it claims it has a Doctorate in. It wears a small lab coat with a grey waistcoat accompanied with a white shirt and black tie, with complementary grey pants furnished with black oxford shoes. It was discovered by the Foundation in 2001 near Newcastle Upon-Tyne trying to operate on a patient at [Redacted] Hospital, it tried to conduct a heart transplant before being chased away by hospital staff, it would soon be discovered by MTF huddled close by an alley, which it then was tranquilized and contained at Site-XX, were it continues to complain about the mistreatment of the Class-Ds by the Foundation, saying it is inhumane and any medical staff at the Foundation that allow this to happen are spineless cowards who break the laws of medicine, such as the Hippocratic Oath. Because of this SCP-XXXX refuses to proceed in any tests by the Foundation, unless the Foundation threatens a Class-D with death or injury which, due to it’s empathy, follows orders with reluctancy and a bit of spite. SCP-XXXX isn’t openly hostile due to it’s passive nature and it’s holding up of it’s morales, despite having disdain for the Foundation’s activities, it’ll follow the Foundation’s orders if the Class-Ds are promised to be kept safe and unharmed, this obviously will not come into fruition, but SCP-XXXX doesn’t know that and will not be told that, anyone telling SCP-XXXX this information will be terminated or giving Class-D classification.
