Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a locked storage container with armed guards on staff at all times. Personell are to wear noise isolation devices at all times during testing with SCP-XXXX

Description: SCP-XXXX consists of two items; SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-1 which is a Global Positioning System device of unknown origin. SCP-XXXX-2 is a predatory humanoid entity, approximately 3m in height. The entity can only be seen on recording devices and will not appear unless XXXX-1 is active.

When active, SCP-XXXX-1 will function similar to that of a typical GPS, however approximately 20 minutes after activation, the system will begin to show slight alterations in the path given to the user. This will continue for approximately 25 miles, at which point, SCP-XXXX-1 will announce the user has arrived at their destination. After this announcement, SCP-XXXX-2 will manifest, and attack the victim. This usually ends with the death of the victim, and their consumption by SCP-XXXX-1. Testing has also revealed a minor effect of XXXX-1 in which the victim does not notice if their path is altered, instead following the path.

SCP-XXXX-1 was first recovered in ████ Maine in 19██ after a number of missing person reports in the area. Foundation personell recovered SCP-XXXX-1 after manifestation of the device in a transport vehicle led to Agents ███ and ██ transporting a group of D-Class to an unknown location, at which point SCP-XXXX-2 manifested. This led to the death of █ D-Class personell, as well as Agent ██. Agent ███ fired six shots, one of which hit XXXX-1 causing demanifestation of XXXX-2.
