Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures:
Description: SCP-XXXX is a phenomenon where smoke will manifest out of a building. However, these buildings have to:
-Be on a place far away from any city, town, village etc.
-Be abandoned for 10-30 years.
-Be a building without a damaged entrance.
-Be a building with windows.
-Be on Europe, Asia, Africa or Oceania.
During a SCP-XXXX event, the building will be filled with smoke, and the smoke will start to come out of the windows, and sometimes the door. Witnesses have reported that the smoke has a smell resembling menthol. When anyone enters the building, SCP-XXXX will close the entrance, and SCP-XXXX-1 will manifest.
SCP-XXXX-1 is a Caucasian man that claims to be from "The Anglo-Japanese Union", but is able to speak any language without any errors. SCP-XXXX-1 will talk about the history of any country, however the country seems to not exist in real life. These countries are always from the past, and their history will always include wars against "the Gonsari". These countries only exist in the continents of Asia, Europe, Africa or Oceania. These countries are classified as SCP-XXXX-1-X.
A SCP-XXXX-1 manifestation ends after 5-20 minutes, however the person who visited SCP-XXXX will say that it has lasted 1-3 hours. The reason for the time dilation between SCP-XXXX and the real life is unknown.
When a person spends a week after entering SCP-XXXX, they will become a SCP-XXXX-2 instance.
SCP-XXXX-2 instances report non-existant countries on normal maps, and a "Gonsari Supremacy" on the Americas. When asked about the "Gonsari Supremacy", they will show extreme distress, and will either fall into a coma, or expire. When the SCP-XXXX-2 instance wakes up from a coma, they will lose their anomalous properties.
SCP-XXXX was discovered when firefighters were dispatched to an abandoned drug lab in Sassari, Italy. The Foundation intervened when there were reports of talking about non-existant countries and seeing weird nations on normal maps in a fire department on Sassari. The Foundation created a cover story about an "alternate-history competition" on the website of the Sassari Fire Department, and took the SCP-XXXX-2 instances to Site-██.
