| Item #: SCP-XXXX |
 |
Object Class: Euclid |
| Level 4 Clearance |
Threat Level: Orange ● |
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is kept in a Standard Humanoid Containment Cell at Site-██. Security cameras are placed inside the containment cell, and are closely monitoring SCP-XXXX. Due to SCP-XXXX's powerful cybernetics, the cell wall is 20 centimeters thick and made of reinforced steel. No fewer than three (3) armed guards are to be placed outside SCP-XXXX's containment cell. Four (4) Hoffman Portable Electro-Thaumic Units are placed inside and around the cell to prevent SCP-XXXX from escaping through an ingress portal. Per request of SCP-XXXX and approval of O5 Council, a small rubber ball has been given to SCP-XXXX for leisure. Any changes in behaviour is to be reported to the site director, to be addressed properly. SCP-XXXX is currently uncontained, and is presumed to be inside SCP-XXXX-2-Ω.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a sapient cybernetic organism, bearing the appearance of a 10 year-old Caucasian male. Facial identification has matched SCP-XXXX to an English boy, who went missing and was presumed dead. It currently responds to the name, "Caelum" or in some cases, "Cael". Its cybernetic enhancements include cybernetic legs, jaws and the majority of the digestive system.
SCP-XXXX has the ability to create inter-dimensional gateways, that serve as egress points for extradimensional creatures (See Document-XXXX-α for a partial list of egressed creatures.) The majority of the extradimensional entities has shown to be hostile to Foundation personnel. The parallel dimension now referred to as SCP-XXXX-2-Ω is inaccessible, due to the fact that the inter-dimensional gateways created by SCP-XXXX seem to only serve as exits.
SCP-XXXX has by far only shown benevolence. It is very polite and respectful, always thanking the personnel who give him food. It constantly smiles at everyone, only stopping when eating or sleeping. Despite having advanced cybernetics, it acts like a typical 10-year-old, and does not acknowledge its cybernetics except during tests. SCP-XXXX's only source of leisure is a small rubber ball given to him, with the approval of the site director.
Recovery: SCP-XXXX first came to the Foundation's attention, when an undercover agent reported seeing strange creatures near ███████ Forest in Scotland. When a team of Foundation agents was dispatched to investigate, they found SCP-XXXX opening a gateway, and a large crab-like creature emerged from it. But before they could intervene, the crustacean noticed them and attacked, while also using its armored body to shield SCP-XXXX. The team was slaughtered by the large crustacean. The giant crab was terminated when MTF Gamma-1 "Search and Destroy" moved in, and the taskforce also captured SCP-XXXX. It was sent to Site-██ for containment.

We are trying to bring back the logs, but the records cannot be found anywhere in the archives. Someone deleted all of it from the mainframe. Only O5 Council members can delete records from the mainframe, right?
Benjamin ██████
All of SCP-XXXX's test logs disappeared from the Foundation mainframe. Any attempts to recover said-files have failed. O5 Command denies the statement that they deleted the files.
Addendum-XXXX-2-A: SCP-XXXX has shown a change in both behaviour and demeanor. It only lies in its bed, and does nothing else. SCP-XXXX does not respond to any order, even when ordered to eat. It now lies awake even at nighttime, where it usually sleeps. To learn the reason behind this, Dr. Benjamin ██████ has conducted an interview on SCP-XXXX. The following is the short recording of the interview.
Interviewed: SCP-XXXX
Interviewer: Dr. Benjamin ██████
<BEGIN LOG>
Interviewer: Hello, Caelum. How are you feeling?
SCP-XXXX: I am fine, sir.
Interviewer: Good. We have recently detected a change in your behaviour. You haven't been eating, sleeping or even playing, lately. Is something wrong?
SCP-XXXX: (long pause) Are you just using me, doctor? For something I don't know?
Interviewer: What? Why would I be using you?
SCP-XXXX: I don't know. Maybe I'm just a tool. Useful, yet disposable.
Interviewer: I don't know what you're talking about, Caelum. You are not a tool here.
SCP-XXXX: Am I, sir?
Interviewer: Are you alright, Caelum? Is there anything you want to talk about?
SCP-XXXX: (SCP-XXXX leans on the chair) Nothing. I'm fine, doctor.
(SCP-XXXX is unresponsive to questions, afterwards. He has been taken back to his cell, with no resistance at all.)
<END LOG>
Closing Statement: SCP-XXXX seemed to be suspicious during the interview. He is now being closely monitored, and one (1) additional guard has been placed at the entrance.
Addendum-XXXX-2-B: After 2 days since the change in behaviour was first recorded, SCP-XXXX still continued to display the changed demeanor. He is now malnourished and weakened, as he hasn't eaten for the duration. The following interview is initiated by order of Site Director ██████.
Interviewed: SCP-XXXX
Interviewer: Dr. Benjamin ██████
<BEGIN LOG>
Interviewer: Good evening, Caelum. How are you feeling?
SCP-XXXX: (no response)
Interviewer: Caelum? Are you alright?
SCP-XXXX: I am fine, sir. Thank you for asking.
Interviewer: Alright, Caelum. I have some questions for you. Would you be so kind to answer?
SCP-XXXX: Okay. (Not looking up.)
Interviewer: Why are you not eating, lately? You haven't been eating. It's not god for you.
SCP-XXXX: I feel no desire to eat… or stay.
Interviewer: Are you implying that you are leaving?
SCP-XXXX: What if I was?
Interviewer: I fear you still cannot leave, Caelum. There are other people out there. Evil people, who want to use you for their own gain.
SCP-XXXX: (shouts) You are the ones who want to use me for your gain! This is not a haven, it's a prison!
Interviewer: If we are using you, we are doing it for humanity's survival. Now, please lower your voice.
SCP-XXXX: (shouts) I will not! I am leaving, whether you like it or not!
Interviewer: This behaviour is not tolerated, Caelum. You have been warned!
(SCP-XXXX screams and leaps at the doctor. He pins him to the ground.)
Interviewer: Guards!
(SCP-XXXX creates a gateway, and two humanoid creatures emerged from it. Three guards enter and attempt to pull SCP-XXXX away from the doctor, but was intercepted by the humanoids. The entities screeched and killed the guards using their extra sword-like limbs.)
<END LOG>
Closing Statement: SCP-XXXX has displayed hostility for the first time. It killed Dr. Benjamin ██████ by strangulation. Emergency procedures were enacted, and the room was filled with [REDACTED] gas and SCP-XXXX went unconcious. The entities disappeared afterwards. It was taken back to its cell, accompanied by a larger security force.
Classified Records: Need Level 4/XXXX Clearance
Document-XXXX-α: SCP-XXXX possesses the ability to create inter-dimensional gateways, that serve as egress points for hostile creatures. The following is a partial list of the organisms that has egressed from the gateways created by SCP-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX-Α: SCP-XXXX-Α is an arthropod resembling a large four-legged spider with a hand-like appendage as a tail. It egressed during a test of SCP-XXXX's ability in a controlled environment. It was hostile to all personnel excluding SCP-XXXX, and tried to terminate them. It was neutralized when SCP-XXXX closed the gateway, and it became motionless and decayed quickly, leaving only the skeleton. Research indicated that it had the combined genes of a spider and a [REDACTED].
SCP-XXXX-Β: SCP-XXXX-Β is an invertebrate, resembling a 4-meter long jellyfish and was capable of levitation. As it exited the portal, it immediately lashed out its appendages, which resemble that of an average jellyfish on nearby personnel and killed them with an extremely-potent venom. It was neutralized the same way as SCP-XXXX-Α when SCP-XXXX closed the portal and it fell to the ground, decaying afterwards. No research could be done on the creature.
SCP-XXXX-Γ: SCP-XXXX-Γ is a hexagonal prism with anti-gravitational capabilities. Each side contained a single glyph of unknown origins. Direct visual contact can result in paralysis and death, rendering it cognitohazardous. SCP-XXXX-Γ did not deactivated when SCP-XXXX closed the portal, and continued to display hostility. Eventually, SCP-XXXX-Γ escaped the facility, and dealt massive damage to personnel. It was tracked by MTF Gamma-1 and was neutralized successfully.
SCP-XXXX-Δ: SCP-XXXX-Δ is a mechanical humanoid, approximately 2 meters in height. It was not hostile to personnel, and conversed with SCP-XXXX in an unknown language. Afterwards, it entered the egress portal, and disappeared. It was the only recorded instance to exit and enter through the same portal. SCP-XXXX does not have any recollection of the event.
SCP-XXXX-Ε: SCP-XXXX-Ε is a PSHUD in very poor condition. Despite missing both arms, it was hostile to Foundation personnel, and attacked at first sight. It was eventually shot down by Agent Graham. Research indicated that the droid was programmed to be hostile specifically to Foundation personnel.
SCP-XXXX-Ζ: SCP-XX-
[DATA CORRUPT]
XXX-Ρ: SCP-XXXX-Ρ is a humanoid figure, with its hands replaced by sickles of unknown composition. It immediately attacked nearby personnel and killed them by decapitation. It was incredibly agile and light, dodging all gunfire. It was only terminated when SCP-XXXX cut off one of its arms and used it to decapitate SCP-XXXX-Ο. Research conducted on the body revealed that SCP-XXXX-Ο's body is completely hollow, resulting in its agility.
SCP-XXXX-Σ: SCP-XXXX-Σ-1 and 2 are humanoid entities, approximately 2 meters in height. Each of the entites have three extra sword-like limbs protruding from its back, which it uses to attack. Both SCP-XXXX-Σ-1 and 2 manifested during an interview with Dr. Benjamin ██████, in which they killed three guards. They were terminated when SCP-XXXX became unconcious, suggesting that both were thaumaturgic manifestations.
We already lost dozens of men during these tests, and lost 11 recorded instances in our records to data corruption. I propose we discontinue research on SCP-XXXX and wait until we can determine what is causing these corruptions.
Document-XXXX-Β:

DOCUMENT-XXXX-Β AND RELATED FILES ARE EXPUNGED IN THEIR ENTIRETY. ANY ATTEMPT TO ACCESS UNAUTHORIZED FILE COPIES WILL BE LOGGED AND WILL LEAD TO IMMEDIATE DISCIPLINARY ACTION.
Other Logs and Files: Need Level 4/XXXX Clearance:
Incident Log-XXXX-1: At 11/6/2024, the alarm klaxons in the western containment wing suddenly activated and all thaumic units in the facility were deactivated. All armed personnel proceeded to locate the source of the containment breach. In the chaos, Dr. ██████ opened SCP-XXXX's containment cell without permission, and took it with him. MTF Gamma-1 were given orders to find and detain Dr. ██████ and recontain SCP-XXXX.
Agent Witcher both spotted Dr. ██████ and SCP-XXXX in Sector 12, and began pursuit. Operatives of Gamma-1 regrouped on Agent Witcher. Then, Dr. ██████ sealed himself and SCP-XXXX in an empty breach site. Agent Witcher began to forcefully open the doors using thaumaturgy. Unfortunately when he was done opening the doors, only the researcher was found in the room, and no trace of SCP-XXXX. It is theorized that SCP-XXXX was able to create an ingress portal and entered SCP-XXXX-2-Ω.
The following is an audio excerpt of the interview initiated by Site Director ██████ to extract information from Dr. ██████ pertaining to SCP-XXXX. The interview was arranged in Site-81.
Interviewed: Dr. ██████
Interviewer: Agent Witcher
<BEGIN LOG>
Interviewer: Dr. ██████?
Interviewee: What is it?
Interviewer: Why did you help SCP-XXXX escape?
Interviewee: (pause) He was scared… and confused… and… lonely.
Interviewer: You know that does not mean anything to the Foundation. We are tasked in containing these entities, and you helped one escape.
Interviewee: Agent. How would you feel if you discovered that you are merely a disposable tool? That you are just a lab rat?
Interviewer: What is that supposed to mean?
Interviewee: I felt Caelum's sadness. His pain. His confusion. And then, I knew that he needed to leave but O5-1 won't listen. So I helped him escape… to Wayland.
Interviewer: So he is in SCP-XXXX-2-Ω? How did he get there?
Interviewee: (chuckles) Even if I told you, you wouldn't believe me.
Interviewer: Try me, doctor.
Interviewee: Wayland is a parallel universe, and it is home to dangerous creatures. Correct?
Interviewer: (nods) Yes. I know about that.
Interviewee: These creatures are not the only inhabitants of this dimension. There are beings. Sapient and sentient. Thaumaturgists, robots, cyborgs. Forgotten by time, forsaken by humanity. Those unloved and outcasted, seeking refuge in a place where everything is normal. Nobodies.
Interviewer: Wait.. Nobody?
Interviewee: Yes. Nobody. He.. or she is more powerful than you. Than the Foundation.
Interviewer: Tell us how to get there.
Interviewee: If I knew, I would have left this world a long time ago.
(Dr. ██████ was unresponsive to further questions.)
<END LOG>
Closing Statement: Dr. ██████ has escaped the prison, a day later. He is now being hunted by MTF Gamma-1.

It has come to my attention that you have recently failed to contain a breach, that resulted in the escape of SCP-XXXX to Wayland (SCP-XXXX-2-Ω as you call it). I do not hold any valuable information pertaining to Caelum, but I do know that Dr. ██████ has recently escaped his prison through anomalous means. I have reason to believe that he is trying to find a way to Wayland, and that the artifact that he holds is the key. I am currently following him, and will constantly update you on his current location. In exchange for my service, you will give me the object that he holds. I will take the object once your men have captured Dr. ██████. I also hope to see you there.

Agent Witcher. Sometimes you have to have faith in something, even though there is nothing backing it up. By the way, our current location is █████ Hotel, 20 kilometers from the nearest Foundation site. Hurry.
