Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 is currently to stay with SCP-XXXX-2 for health purposes. SCP-XXXX-1 is only to be removed from SCP-XXXX-2 for research purposes, and may only be done so by class 3 personnel or above.

SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX-3 to stay in a standard humanoid containment cell with standard furnishings located at site 17.

SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX-3 are to stay together at all times, and may only be separated for research purposes.

Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is a ring a rose quarts stone of standard measurement in a heart shaped cut on a fake gold base. SCP-XXXX-1’s anomalous properties currently only manifest when worn by SCP-XXXX-2. When worn by SCP-XXXX-2, SCP-XXXX will experience a rotting of the body from the inside out when separated from their romantic partner (SCP-XXXX-3). The rotting will also occur even when SCP-XXXX-3 is present if SCP-XXXX-2 is not wearing SCP-XXXX-1.

SCP-XXXX-2 is a 20 year old woman from ███, France who is known legally as Marie ██. Since being gifted SCP-XXXX-1 as a relationship anniversary gift from its romantic parter, SCP-XXXX-1 has connected itself to SCP-XXXX-2. The rotting of the body that occurs when away from SCP-XXXX-3 has been observed to begin with the heart, then will begin to rot in patches of skin. The rotting of the body does not occur as natural rotting of an alive human human body. SCP-XXXX-2 will still be capable of breathing, though movements have been observed to cause SCP-XXXX-2 large amounts of pain.

In its worse state, SCP-XXXX-2 held large and deep bruises of black, red, and purple hues patching many places on its skin, as well as exposure of the heart and rib cage area with other areas of bone showing. The effects of SCP-XXXX-1 have been observed to reverse in order and time of when they occurred when SCP-XXXX-2 is back with SCP-XXXX-3. The worst state took five days to occur, and five days to reverse.

SCP-XXXX-3 is a 21 year old man from ███, England, but was living in ███, France at the time of recovery. SCP-XXXX-3 is known legally as Simon ███. Since gifting SCP-XXXX-2 SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-3 has lost its previous personality and patterns of behaviors, and now acts as an accessory to SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-3 only does and acts as SCP-XXXX-2 instructs, unless the actions are in a romantic manner, even if asked to stop by SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-2 has shown great distress to the affects of SCP-XXXX-1 on SCP-XXXX-3. SCP-XXXX-2 has also expressed great distress and discomfort at the affectionate behavior shown to it by SCP-XXXX-3.

SCP-XXXX-1 has been discovered to not always be connected to SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-2 revealed SCP-XXXX-1 was recovered from a store under the name of ‘Crystal’s Jewelers’. (See Interview 4/8/20█.)

Dr Dots: Hello SCP-XXXX-2. My name is Dr Dots, and I’ll be handling your interviews.

SCP-XXXX-2: Could you call me Marie? That’s fine if not. I mean this whole thing is just…weird as hell…in a living hell anyways. I know this is the weirdest thing I’ve ever experienced, but I know you can’t say the same.

Dr Dots laughs.
Dr Dots: You’d be right there Missy. I’m going to ask you a few questions about the ring and where you got it, Alright?
SCP-XXXX-2: That’s fine. I don’t mind, really. Maybe you guys could figure out a way to stop this.
Dr Dots: So to start. Where did you get the ring?
SCP-XXXX-2: My…My boyfriend Simon got it for me as a three year anniversary gift. We’re not married, but he still wanted to get something nice. It was from this store called Crystal’s Jewelers. I went with him to pick it out.
Dr Dots: Tell me more about Crystal’s Jewelers. Who sold you the ring?
SCP-XXXX-2: The owner herself, Crystal sold it to us. She said that she got one look at us and could tell we needed something to bond us for eternity to stray from past troubles or something.
Dr Dots: Do you know what past troubles she means?
SCP-XXXX-2: Well…we’ve had a lot of on and off and wanting to be with other people, including acting on those desires…But we’re told by so many we’re soulmates. But I mean I guess she was right or something. I’m bonded to this ring. I didn’t know when she said ‘no one else could wear it and have the same experience’, she was serious. I wish I would have just cut it off. So many thing happened but…I told myself it was fine, you know? I was convinced it was…but it wasn’t. And it never will be again….will it?

When the bag SCP-XXXX-1 was purchased in was recovered from the home of SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX-3, a tag of purchase was discovered in it.

Addendum-3-Incident report XXXX-A

Description: On 6/20/20█, SCP-XXXX-3 was found knocked out on the ground in its containment cell. The wound on the head showed to be from blunt trauma of a hard, non pointed object. The door had been forced open, and SCP-XXXX-2 was nowhere to be found in its containment cell.

Approximately 30 minutes after discovery of XXXX-3’s state, XXXX-2 was found on the ground in a half rotted state in hallway C. When questioned, SCP-XXXX-2 explained the breach was in an attempt to free itself from the bond with SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-3. SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX-3 were each given one instance of SCP-500. Testing afterwards showed the rotting effect still occurs when SCP-XXXX-2 is separated from SCP-XXXX-3, or when SCP-XXXX-1 is removed.
