Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be placed in a 1 meter (3.3 ft) by 1 meter room. The room is to be standard with no extra plating or materials, and only requires one (1) LED light above the pedestal in which SCP-XXXX lay.
The two doors can only be accessed by Level-1 researcher personnel and higher. Thermal detection sensors are set along the chamber in between the doors. If the sensors go off, security will be alerted unless personnel are permitted to enter or sensors are offline.
In the event that SCP-XXXX needs to be moved, personnel are to look in the opposite direction while a 6 centimeter (2.4 inch) thick cloth is placed over SCP-XXXX by only one (1) personnel within three (3) seconds of visible contact. The cloth is to be fully wrapped around the item with no accessible view of the item.
When SCP-XXXX is set down, only one (1) personnel reverses the process when putting the cloth on. Personnel are to exit the room with no contact or view of SCP-XXXX. Any personnel that have viewed SCP-XXXX are to report to the site medical bay or any nearby medical facility.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a spherical object 25.4 centimeters (10 inches) by 25.4 centimeters. SCP-XXXX seems to be made of a dark gray plastic substance, but no material test has been successful in finding the true substance of the item. Despite these features, SCP-XXXX lacks in any other features.
SCP-XXXX produces a strong memetic affect on humans or any other living animal. The memetic affect is not released within approximately three (3) seconds. Afterwords, the subject is forced to look upon SCP-XXXX, careless of any surrounding scene, as in extreme focus and fatigue. This stage has lasted from seven (7) seconds to 49 hours, until the subject faints. Any test lasting for two days or more has resulted in severe brain damage.
In short, SCP-XXXX is simply a memetic ball.
Addendum XXXX-01: SCP-XXXX was located at the Site 17 front gate on 02/██/2019. Two guards were discovered fainted around SCP-XXXX, while one was still under the memetic affect.

After nine (9) seconds from entering the chamber, the subject views SCP-XXXX and sniffs at it for more than three seconds. Subject faints after loses conscious after eight (8) seconds.
Afterword: Subject regains consciousness after four (4) hours. There are no different effects from humans.
