To whom it may concern,
You took it from me. You took the only light of my life from me. My only hope. You tossed me aside like fucking trash. Do you know how it felt? Discovering such a thing, I mean. Do you know how happy it made me to see I wasn’t alone anymore? After Sean’s death, I took up photography. My boy, my baby boy, he had gotten a camera for Christmas in 2001. He was so happy. The way his blue eyes lit up, the way he hugged my leg and thanked me over and over again. I miss him so much. You’ll never understand what it’s like to loose something because all you sick freaks do is take.
After he lost the fight, I took his camera. I snapped photos of the most beautiful sights, hoping somehow it would bring my little boy back. Eventually I gave up. I knew he was gone. But that’s when I saw the messages. They filled me such love, such happiness. But I guess like Sean, like every little good thing in my life, it was taken away from me. You’re all fucking disgusting. Demons, the lot of you. May God himself forgive you from taking my last string of joy.
SCP-XXXX, when turned over, will reveal a message inscribed in blank ink directed at the reader, using their full name. However, this effect does not work if two outside forces are observing it directly. SCP-XXXX’s anomalous properties can observed by digital means. SCP-XXXX’s messages are positive advice regarding a person’s current stressful situation. This anomalous effect will work regardless of how stress - drew a person may be. These messages will always end in "Love, …". It is unknown if this is a form of hiding an identity, or an actual name.
Test subjects report feeling serene and trustful of SCP-XXXX when replaying the memories of a message inscribed to them. These emotions do not occur when a test subject has yet to receive a message from SCP-XXXX.
As of February 23rd, 20█, two separate tests involving SCP-XXXX has been preformed.
TEST SUBJECT: D-56799
BACKGROUND: D-56799’s mother was lost in a car crash just a year after D-56799’s twenty-third birthday.
DATE: November 12th, 2007
TIME: 3:56 PM
OVERSEER: Dr. A████
Dear Margaret D█,
I understand what you are going through. But if your mother saw you now, do you how proud she would be? You have grown into such a beautiful, strong woman. Stronger than anybody I know.
Please, don’t just stop living because of this. Horrid things like this happen, whether you would like it to or not. It is life. If I could take all your pain away, I would. But you have to keep your head up high.
Because your mother loved you against promise, against peace, against the world who tried so desperately to destroy what you two had created. But you two flourished in a world without the necessary nutrients. Please, do not give up hope.
You will learn to fly once again, whether it be by yourself or with others. You will not fall down. You will get back up. You will find strength where there is none.
TEST SUBJECT: D-43557
BACKGROUND: D-43557 expressed high levels of stress involving his wife and his old job before his involvement with the SCP Foundation.
DATE: March 5th, 2007

OVERSEER: Dr. A████
Dear Matthew A████,
I see you have been well. That is good, and I’m glad you’re feeling so great. I know paperwork can be stressful for you, but I have some tips and tricks that can make it better.
Why not make a game with it? How much work can I complete in just a minute? Listen to music, have fun with it! Heaven knows you deserve it.
I know you believe your wife doesn’t trust you, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. She just misses you, that’s all. Why not ask for a day off? Go for a picnic together, be teens again.
Please don’t overwork yourself. What you do is enough. You will always be enough, no matter what anybody tells you. You do your best, and that’s enough.
