Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a cell that is 4 x 4 x 4 meter along with an adjoining room used as an airlock to prevent it from getting through one door. The walls must be 13 centimeters wide and the door must be at least 8 centimeters wide. The door must be opened from an adjacent control room that can only be accessed from outside the cell. The cell, adjoining room, and doors must be made of osmium, the density of the metal is one of the few materials that has the ability to prevent SCP-XXXX from escaping (see description for details). SCP-XXXX enjoys holding personnel and D-class subjects in its cell for hours or even days, always assume it will disallow personnel from exiting its cell.

An optional, but unnecessary, feature to greatly increase the chances of survival for any personnel entering SCP-XXXX’s cell a shaft connecting the adjacent control room and the airlock should be created to give said personnel food and drink. The shaft should resemble the air shaft since it has to have two hatches that can only be opened from the control room.

Though greatly discouraged, if personnel of Level 2 or higher access wish to examine or interview SCP-XXXX from inside its cell they must be warned prior to entering the second door in the airlock that SCP-XXXX may hold them for several days in which food and water can only be delivered to them through a socket in the wall of the airlock. If SCP-XXXX gets through the first door the personnel currently in the airlock must leave the inner door open, allowing SCP-XXXX to reenter its cell. Until SCP-XXXX is confirmed to be back inside its cell and the inner door is closed the outer door must not be opened for any reason. When personnel are in the specimen’s cell the room must be monitored remotely at all times for purposes of security.

As an alternative to entering SCP-XXXX’s cell personnel may use the speaker system to communicate with it.

SCP-XXXX, though seemingly human, does not require food, drink, or sleep. The cell should be furnished accordingly.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid figure standing roughly 2.13 meters tall. The specimen shows signs of great strength and dexterity. Due to its long captivity its skin is almost devoid of pigmentation. At a quick glance the specimen looks like a human male of no distinguishable race, but upon closer inspection its skin is made of a constantly shifting material known as [REDACTED] that suggests its ability to teleport.

SCP-XXXX’s only physical feature that differs it from a human is a pair of shadowy feathered wings that resemble those of a biblical angel. The wings seem to be invisible unless the specimen is provoked which causes the wings to unfurl and lash around, passing through all objects they come into contact with including organic matter. They do cause temporary paralysis in any creature it touches including humans. The paralysis lasts 30-45 minutes.

The specimen was not considered dangerous or anomalous until SCP-XXXX began threatening Dr. ████████, claiming that it would tear off his limbs one at a time. Dr. ████████ was reassigned to SCP-████ shortly after being separated from his left hand by the specimen.

The specimen is shown to be capable of passing through solid matter, even objects and equipment up to 1500 cm in size. This ability allows SCP-XXXX to move through walls, doors, and organic matter. Osmium is the only attainable material found to prevent the specimen from escaping. If required to wear any clothing it leaves the material behind.

SCP-XXXX was captured and contained by MTF-Lambda-5 (“White Rabbits”) using a box made of osmium and several helicopters. It was tricked into entering the container with the promise of relocation, of the specimen, to an uninhabited planet. The promise, and therefore the capture of SCP-XXXX is attributed to Capt. █████.

Addendum XXXX-01: SCP-XXXX was first discovered and located by members of a local [REDACTED] cult during the course of their daily routine. The body of a former church elder, [DATA EXPUNGED] was discovered nearby. Several photographs were taken of the anomaly. To date, four groups of humans have died and at least one cult member has gone missing.

Addendum XXXX-01: It is believed that SCP-XXXX was an elusive member of the Homo Sapiens Sapiens species that inhabited Earth approximately 200,000 years ago.
