[[story]]
Item, referred to as A1 is contained in concrete cell measuring 10x10 consisting of one door panel constructed from 38mm wide rolled hollow steel sections with 2mm thick steel door skins seam welded along all edges. No furnishings are provided or nessecary. Minimal guard requirement due to item's nature, security staff are present during research observation but otherwise routine checks are carried out once per twelve (12) hours. In addition one air vent and extractor fan has been securely installed to remove carbon produced by open fire which appears where ever item is contained.
Periodically three (3) additional males of the same ethnicity as A1, hereafter referred to as item A2, A3 and A4 also appear, sometimes seen to be moving through any and all obstructions before later fleeing and appear no more than twenty (20) feet away from item A1 before making an approach therefore an area of 30 feet is isolated around items containment area. Researchers have recorded that A2, A3 and A4 approach from a North Western direction and also leave in the same direction.
Item A1 makes no attempt to breach containment and it is surmised that item is totally unaware of surroundings beyond his immediate area (camp site/fire)
Other than an open fire the only other objects to appear are a clay cooking pot and personal possessions. These objects have been catalogued by the the Archeological division and date to the bronze age (500 BC – AD 300)
Description:
missing lower right leg from beneath the knee and the upper thigh has been partially flayed by a sharp object and is bound securely with strips of leather made from sheep skin.
Proto/archaic unknown language spoken and is unresponsive to communication or commands making verbal communication impossible though item does not acknowledge research team members the subject is calm and peaceful despite wounds with a temperature consistent with fever and infection, item exhibits no response to physical contact by research team member, who also took samples for later study.
Once in containment a fire appears within two (2) meters of A1 using dung collected from Autoch (Bos primigenius) as primary combustible fuel clay pot on fire found to contain samples of subjects missing calf and thigh cooking with wheat and barley
Research staff observed item to expire from infection though item then almost immediately "resets" by unknown means exhibiting no wounds and has fully recovered again sitting beside fire stiring contents within pot.
Once Approx 8 hours have elapsed three(3) males arrive, A2, A3 and A4 and proceed with violent attack focused on item A1 beginning attack with a beating using fists and kicks then binding item with A2 and A4 holding A1 down while A3 begins to flay lower right leg expertly flaying calf up to knee, which is then cut off using a hand axe. Having removed the lower leg, A3 begins to flay thigh. Parts of muscle are immediately consumed raw, knawing on the bones and sucking the marrow out while larger strips, muscles, tendons and sinews are placed into the clay pot. This process last for 3.5 hours approximately.
Item reaction observed to be highly panicked crying out and appears to plead with the assailants leading to conversation between the group and item which results in the item becoming suddenly extremely calm demonstrating a peaceful state. The effect on the assailants is to cause abject terror shortly after this observation the assailants flee the scene and vanish.
Item A1 soon expires from blood loss, shock and infection at moment of death, the scene is repeated with item once again whole and the entire event is played out exactly as before. Researchers have observed this repeating 508 times as of date (██/██/19██)
Further investigation has been authorised by O5 regarding study of unknown language and is ongoing. Permission to use D class personnel to test effects of consumption of contents within clay pot requested by Dr Jankowski head of research team.
Reports to follow.

[[Notes]]
Notes:
Hes the first shaman on earth and the first to use shamanic practice to conquer death, the end being that others are jealous of his power and try to consume him in order to steal his power, once they witness his behaviour they know they have failed and instead the opposite has happened which caused their fear and jealousy to become terror
Basic premises is the conquest of fear and personal death
Hes not immortal, hes trapped in the moment of his death
An anomaly has occurred because of the violence and fear interacting with will power and overcoming fear
Maybe the men partly succeed in cheating him out of his quest, instead of becoming immortal he became trapped in a loop
Hes there on a personal vision quest
Question: is he sentient outside of this loop? Can he interact with other people?
I think i'd like that, i was thinking the research agents would discover that once a D class tried or tastes the mixture in the clay pot
Having a sort of vision or hallucination that results in communication as the language is pre iron age
But initially no communication though you can interact with him, for example as mentioned, drinking from the pot
I think that adds some scope to grow the character or flesh out the story
i want to portray a deeper meaning, i was thinking that it would take the form of a kind of hallucination with two aspects
First an alien landscape, consisting of two long tree like or column like pillars stretched far above your view, your view and understanding of this landscape would be, lets say misty or unclear apart from these stalks or pillars.
Soon you see that it is a newborns point of view of his mothers legs
The legs then take root into a river
And here i can go one of two ways
Either you journey on the river or the roots go deeper and deeper to the core of the earth
The legs also become covered in scales
A revelation of a personal nature
Youre looking into your own psyche like the shaman has done
The river represents your lifes journey and the roots are some thing associated with death
maybe with addendum style, once i introduced the medium, drinking the mixture
His aspect can change to be slightly off, appears younger and older representing something sinister, your own death and your own children or childhood. This adds a element of horror

A MTF was dispatched to the region of [DATA REDACTED]
to recover item.
MTF team secured item with out resistance and discovered item in a securely bound state with lower right limb expertly removed by a sharp object which was not found and thigh partially flayed. Bites also evident with scoring to fimur due to deep lacerations along the length of remaining limb visual inspection confirms the bite marks are consistent with human teeth.
Item is fully conscious and has been bound by strips of leather confirmed to be of Taurine cattle origin. (Bos primigenius)[/tab]]
