Special Containment Procedures: Hoffnungsstadt, which SCP-XXXX resides in is to be surrounded by a 10 meter steel wall with guards stationed around interior of the wall. Hoffnungsstadt is not to be on any maps and not to be known of to the public. Yearly, as much as 1-5 D-Class are to be sent to live in Hoffnungsstadt under the pretense of being released.
Description: SCP-XXXX refers to an anomalous phenomenon occuring yearly in Hoffnungsstadt (Designated SCP-XXXX-1), Germany. Every year a black mist will appear in a random house and linger for approximately 4 hours.
In the initial appearance, the subject will not be able to exit the building. This continues on for 1 hour.
As the 1 hour mark ends, the second stage begins, which does not end until the 2 hour mark. SCP-XXXX will restrict the movements of it's subject.
When the 3rd stage begins, SCP-XXXX will begin to corrode the flesh and organs of it's subject, until only bones are left. All well the subject anomalously doesn't die until stage 4.
Stage 4 refers to the disappearance of SCP-XXXX along the remains of its subject
Discovery: SCP-XXXX became aware to Foundation personnel in 19██ when a series of yearly disappearances in a single village began to become known to the public. Starting with a family of five in 189█ with bodies later being found buried in the ground under the fountain at the centre of the village with no signs of tampering with any of the surrounding ground.
