Containment Procedure
SCP XXXX must be contained in a 30x by 30x by 30x meter box made of concrete, the walls need to be at least 1/2 a meter in width, and there must be no lighting. the access door must be made fully of iron. And no electric locks or hinges. When interacting with SCP XXXX, Never touch the specimen and be sure to wear night vision.
Description
The entity is snake-like in body type but is 20.5 meters long. The entity feeds entirely on Light but does not need to feed to stay alive. It won't attack a human subject unless it feels threatened. The entity will never eat a human, when in the dark. The Specimen becomes hostile when in the light. It is believed that when in the light, it is protecting its food source. SCP XXXX must have no human contact within 40 days of exposure to light. SCP XXXX has 4 meters of Long Fangs. when the entity molts its skin it dries into a perfect factory diamond. upon closer analysis, the diamond skin can withstand immense amounts of heat and pressure. and when refined, it is seethrough. SCP XXXX seems fonder of Females than males.
First Human contact

Male specimen named [REDACTED] 5'8'' very muscular. we will call him 01 for this experiment.
01 moved into the lit chamber and made direct eye contact with the entity, his comms shut off immediately, he went to touch the creature and was mauled and torn apart by the entities fangs. the interaction lasted 37.9 seconds. but the creature did not eat the body, instead, it pushed it toward the door and left it there. this lead supervisor [REDACTED] to believe that it feeds on something other than flesh.
Second human contact

Female specimen named [REDACTED] 5'9'' of wirey stature. we will call her 02 for this experiment.
25 days after the first human contact 02 volunteered to test SCP XXXX again. she entered the dark chamber with night vision, the comms were on and she touched the entity. The supervisor turned the camera on, and the red light it emitted cause the entity to go hostile. 02 got out of there in time luckily.
Third Human contact

75 days after the second contact 02 enters SCP XXXX's chamber equipped with night-vision and a night-vision buttonhole camera. The entity seems to be fond of 02, the entity seems to see her as a friend. this entity is intelligent and MRI scans revealed that it could be smarter than a human being. yet it still goes hostile whenever exposed to light. 02 has started calling it "Diamondback"
In the event of a containment breach
If the entity escaped containment evacuate the facility immediately, SCP XXXX could be one of the most dangerous SCP's in the facility. do not underestimate SCP XXXX. Conventional weaponry will not work against SCP XXXX. the diamond skin will protect the creature from bullets and missiles. Gas is the most effective weapon against SCP XXXX.
(this is my first SCP and I would like to make it my own so please do not steal this SCP, but I am open to suggestions)
