Special Containment Procedures: SCP-7554 is to be kept in a 10x25 meter room on a wooden box with a VCR player. No staff are to be within 30 meters of the SCP.
Update following Incident-7554A: The room that SCP-7554 is contained in is to be outfitted with a 1 way window with a dropdown steel shutter accessible to personnel conducting research.
Description: SCP-7554 is a wooden framed CRT TV with colored imagery which is a sort of a housing area for SCP-7554-2. SCP-7554-2 is 554-2 is a humanoid male of 10 feet tall upright. He has an emaciated appearance, no clothing, no reproductive system, and is notably covered in a white powdery substance that appears to always stay dry. Notably, SCP-7554-2 is always in a state of comedic hysteria, laughing on end but rarely stopping to breathe. This shows of his 3 rows of jagged, pointed teeth and lack of tongue.
SCP-7554 is itself not anomalous until the parent of human child is within 30 meters of it after 12:00 AM. After said time, the SCP will begin to play a show simply introduced as the ‘After Midnight Show’, claiming to take place in [REDACTED], USA, which appears innocent enough until around the 12 minute mark, up until then showing various clips of babies and parents laughing over a 50’s style instrumental. After said 12 minute mark, which parents appear to be drawn to watch despite their visceral reactions, various black and white videos of pregnant women and babies being harmed in various ways. At this time, the music becomes slow and distorted, being intercut with audio clips of screaming.
After the show ends, the parents seem to vomit and become sick, attempting to leave the area. At this point SCP-7554-2 appears to appear within 10 meters of the parent, and will react immediately hostile, walking at the parent very slowly. The parents appear to be stunned, but not unable to move. SCP-7554-2 will eventually reach and maul the person assumedly to death, grabbing their body and appearing to cover the person in the powder covering its own body before disappearing, along with the body. At this time the TV returns to normal programming. Notably, said parent who was thought dead will appear in the next episode.
A secondary version will play if a non parent is within the area. The version starts the same, but around the 12 minute mark begins to play various videos of the watcher being tortured. After the end of the show, the watcher will experience extreme paranoia until SCP-7554-2 appears, at which point both the watcher and -2 will enter a state of comedic hysteria, for 2-5 minutes, at which point the Watcher will attempt to run. SCP-7554-2 will get on all fours and break into a sprint towards the watcher, mailing them band covering them in the powder before both disappear
Incident-7554A: Dr.███ was taking notes on SCP-7554, who had thus far not demonstrated any anomalous properties. At this point, the After Midnight Show comes on. After the full run of the show, Dr.███ attempted to call security. All cameras went dead, and when they came back on the, Dr. ███ was gone
