Item #: SCP-6334
Object Class: Thaumiel/Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Samples of SCP-6334-1 are to be held exclusively at Site 133 when not in use in active Scranton Reality Anchors. All amounts of SCP-6334-2 are to be contained in airtight 20 ml ceramic tubes with a lining of 3mm vulcanised rubber, and are stored in isolation in the southern wing of Site 133 at all times. Any quantity of SCP-6334-2 still undergoing unstable Reality Sink Events are to be stored separately with the necessary SRAs to maintain stable Hume levels on site.
All site personnel and D-class must be trained or conditioned in at least Level 3 Self Cognition Control Procedures due to the 6334-B fluid’s response. The following is a list of all unauthorised mental images within approximately 50m of any container of 6334-B:
• Mental images involving the colour red.
• Ideas or concepts related to marriage especially in reference to spouses or partners.
• Thoughts of (or related to) hemophobia.
Update 23/4/2006: Protocol-6334-1 is to be enacted to retrieve any newly created SCP-6334-2 from defunct SRAs. All amounts of SCP-6334-1 are now as well to be contained in airtight 20ml ceramic tubes with a lining of 3mm vulcanized rubber, which are adapted to use in SRAs provided fail safes are installed in the case of SCP-6334-2 conversion.
As of Incident-6334-18, All testing of 6334 samples is prohibited under order of O5 Command. Additionally any personal seen interacting with 6334 samples without express approval from Site 133 Command will be terminated on sight, and site security should treat the interaction as an automatic potential containment breach.
Description: SCP-6334-1 and SCP-6334-2 refers to two anomalous classifications of human blood (type B+) in the possession of the Foundation. Due to a currently unknown phenomenon any amount of SCP-6334-1 or SCP-6334-2 is immutably linked to a “nonessential pocket universe”. This pocket universe, to as SCP-6334-A, is the origin dimension of SCP-6334-1 and SCP-6334-2. SCP-6334-A retains a significantly minute concentration of reality of 0.071 Hume (Hm).
With the current understanding of the effects of negligible Hume volume, It is theorized that SCP-6334-A is both chronologically non-linear and spatially infinite, proof of the former property is evident in the fact all amounts of 6334-1 and 6334-2 do not appear to age or be physically altered in any discernable way.
When a charge of at least 12.43 μA (at 1.7 V) is conducted through at least 18ml of SCP-6334-1 a Type-Gamma Reality Sink Event is induced. This event describes the phenomenon wherein Hume levels are abnormally drained from an environment.
The effects of the event scales with the amount of current conducted through the fluid. Ampere values above 33.12 μA are not to be reached in standard use due to potential wormhole creation.
SCP-6334-2 is chemically and biologically identical to 6334-1, however the substance differs from 6334-1 in four major properties it possesses;
- SCP-6334-2 has the ability to telepathically sense specific mental stimuli within a distance of 50m from the fluid. An up to date list of all currently known telepathic stimuli can be found within SCP-6334’s Containment Procedures.
- SCP-6334-2 possesses the capacity of locomotion, able to flow across surfaces anomalously. Currently the only thing that trigger this behavior is the aforementioned telepathic stimuli; amounts of 6334-2 will attempt to move towards the sources of this stimuli though any available path.
- Testing has shown that while amounts of 6334-1 is inert in the human bloodstream, 6334-2 being exposed to the body results in sudden onsets of delusional hostile episodes in the case of male subjects. In the case of ██████ subjects: [DATA EXPUNGED].
- All amounts of 6334-2 are in a constant Reality Sink event. As well as this the “Sink Epicenter” is reduced to a hazardously low 0.24 Hm.
What is responsible for these properties is also as of yet unknown.
As of 5/12/2016 there are 565 samples of 6334-1 and 570 samples of 6334-2 contained at Site 133 and 2097 samples of 6334-1 in active use in Scranton Reality Anchors.
Addendum SCP 6334-a: History of SCP-6334
3/5/1974: SCP-6334-1 discovered at Site 120 as a part of early rudimentary testing with Class-C wormholes, at which time the SCP-6334-A was accessed for the first time. approximately 300ml of 6334-1 were acquired.
16/1/1977: Reproduction of initial test is successful. Testing 6334-1 to manipulate wormhole creation is proposed.
29/10/1979: First proposed use of SCP-6334-1 in Reality Anchoring prototypes (in particular the Bilateral Anchor System). This is due to it's minute energy consumption, plentiful supply and intensity of effects compared to alternative Reality Sink methods.
24/6/1981: Enhancement of the 6334-1 acquisition procedure for more higher yield and efficiency.
12/4/1990: Large scale obtainment efforts and mass use in reality anchor technology.
2/1/2001: Incident 6334-7 - Acquisition procedure malfunctioned. Hostile variant of 6334-1 is discovered, classified as SCP-6334-2. Following this event, amounts of 6334-1 in use and in storage have been found with trace amounts of 6334-21.
31/3/2006: Full conversion of 6334-1 samples found in defective SRAs. Protocol 6334-1 is created and containment procedures are revised.
7/4/2020: Incident 6334-18 - See Report Below.
Addendum SCP 6334-b: Report of Incident 6334-18
On 7//2020, Dr. Cassan (Assistant Head Researcher on SCP-6334) preformed an unapproved drone exploration of 6334-A. Dr. Cassan submerged a drone into a pool of multiple samples of 6334-1 and proceeded to conduct approximately 47.5 μA though the liquid. This caused a wormhole creation that transported the drone into the 6334-A dimension for 1.32 picoseconds.
After this, automatic security procedures at Site 133 activated, shutting off power when extreme Hume fluctuations were detected. This forced the drone back out of 6334-A, however due to partial disconnect to real time, the device had recorded 35 seconds of footage.
The intense Hume influx caused a mass conversion of 6334-1 into 6334-2 within the immediate vicinity of the pool. After the resulting containment breach, Dr. Cassan was taken into custody and the drone and it's footage was recovered.
