Description: SCP-XXXX is a poorly-characterized anomalous effect which led to the continued appearance of functionality of a restaurant (SCP-XXXX-A) located in the Midwestern United States. It is currently believed that the effect was maintained through the collective will of the staff employed at SCP-XXXX-A; however, investigation has revealed no anomalous individuals employed, either directly by SCP-XXXX-A or by its parent company.
History: SCP-XXXX-A was formerly a well-known restaurant in the city of ███ █████. At some point in its operation (believed to coincide with a post-recession downturn in business in 2008), SCP-XXXX manifested2. Following the shelter-in-place orders in early 2020, as well as the reduced restaurant capacity mandated by social distancing guidelines put into effect to minimize the spread of COVID-19, the effects of SCP-XXXX become more readily apparent and the restaurant's staff began to doubt whether the business would be able to continue operation. Attempts by the staff to increase traffic to the restaurant began shortly thereafter.
