Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4983 is to be contained in a Concrete cell furnished with basic amenities. It is to be locked with an airtight door and have a closed circuit ventilation system. The entrance to 4983 should be an air lock system, and any entering the cell must wear standard hazmat equipment. When leaving the cell, all staff must go through a decontamination process.
Description: 4983 is a 6ft 8in tall bipedal creature, which resembles a lizard. It calls itself “Elipse” and due to an agreement with Site Director █████, will be referred to as such. Elipse emits noxious fumes constantly, and when breathed in by any other than Elipse, will result in slow and extremely painful death. After someone dies from this the corpse also emits the fumes. Corpses afflicted with the fumes decay rapidly. It was found in █████, Russia, on █-06-19██ and was retrieved by MTF-██ after Agent ████████ spotted it.
Addendum: After testing on ██-█-19██, it was found the noxious fumes are actually nanobots, and that after a target has been infected the nanobots turn the body into a factory, which explains the increased rate of decay.
