Description:
SCP 7409 is a large skyscraper located in [REDACTED]. SCP 7409 appears to have been an office building at one time, however, an unknown event caused by a humanoid shadow creature (SCP 7409-a) led to the deaths of all the workers in the building and transformed it into the SCP it is today. 7409-a used the remains and energy it gained from the workers to change the building into a large skyscraper with nothing but hallways and rooms on all of its sixty floors. Rooms can vary in shape and size ranging from a room with a single stool housing a humanoid creature with no eyes and constantly crying and bleeding from the sockets (thought to be one of the previous workers) to the ever-expanding room of sentient human heads hung on meat hooks suspend from the ceiling. 7409-a appears friendly with a select few personale drs. [Redacted] and [REDACTED] and is capable of telepathic communication with them. What it wants, however, remains unknown. Periodically, 7409-a will enter a rage state and attack any and all humans in the immediate vicinity. Subject can move through solid matter and, therefore, is extremely difficult to contain. Building has the ability to add floors of rooms based on the actions of the shadow, although such activity has slowed almost to a halt as less people are being taken by the shadow. So far, thirty of the seventy five floors have been fully explored from the bottom up. More exploration is being planned currently.

Special containment procedures:
An exclusion zone of one hundred meters in diameter has been established around the building an electric fence has been built around the vicinity of the building and guard towers line the circumference of the exclusion zone with orders to terminate any unauthorized personnel attempting to enter the SCP. Guards are encouraged to euthanize any personnel seen being taken by the SCP if possible. When the SCP enters a rage state, personnel are ordered to evacuate the area and establish a safe zone of one thousand meters in diameter from the SCP and are encouraged to protect any civilians they can find. Civilians seen being taken by the SCP are to be euthanized unless during a rage state, in which case, they will be left to appease the shadow.
