Special Containment Procedures:
Since currently there are no known methods of containing SCP-XXXX, containment efforts should solely be focused on disinformation campaigns and administering class-A amnestics to witnesses of SCP-XXXX-1 de-manifestation events. Any rumors regarding the disappearance of gas stations are to be investigated and appropriate measures taken as deemed necessary by Dr. H. Ramsier

Description:
SCP-XXXX-1 is an ordinary looking gas station of indistinct brand. SCP-XXXX-1 only manifests when a potential victim(hereafter referred to as "target") becomes an instance of SCP-XXXX-2. Targets include anyone in the state of California matching the following criteria:

• male between the ages of 16 and 45
• currently in a dysfunctional relationship
• has at least one child under the age of 8
• regularly consumes tobacco products

Once a target leaves its home by themselves with the intent of purchasing any tobacco products, and has recently voiced this intent to a family member, it has an approximately 0.6% chance to become an instance of SCP-XXXX-2. Current research indicates voicing

SCP-XXXX is a phenomenon in which an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 instantaneously appears alongside SCP-XXXX-2's planned route in a previously unoccupied location. Unaffected civilians witnessing an SCP-XXXX manifestation event do not notice anything anomalous, claiming SCP-XXXX-1 has always been there when questioned. Research shows this effect to be caused by a weak cognitiohazard emitted by SCP-XXXX.

When SCP-XXXX-2 comes within a distance of approximately 50 meters of SCP-XXXX-1 it enters into a trance like state and starts making its way towards SCP-XXXX-1 regardless of it's previous destination. Physically restricting SCP-XXXX-2 at this stage will be met with no particular resistance, with the trance like state dissipating 2-4 hours if subject has been removed from the 50 meter radius.

If an instance of SCP-XXXX-2 enters SCP-XXXX-1, it is to be considered irretrievable with currently no known methods of opening the front entrance or otherwise penetrating SCP-XXXX-1.
Approximately 2-5 minutes after SCP-XXXX-2 has entering the building, SCP-XXXX-1 spontaneously de-manifests alongside of any non-public transportation vehicle used by SCP-XXXX-2 to approach it.

Addendum: On 2019/02/17 an SCP-XXXX manifestation event was witnessed by a foundation Agent who was ordered to stand by for observational purposes.
Approximately 38 minutes after SCP-XXXX manifested, agent S█████'s audio recording equipment picked up a previously unheard, low crackling sound, resembling that of burning wood, emanating from SCP-XXXX. After 7 minutes, a thick black smoke filled SCP-XXXX. This was the only such documented event as of the writing of this file. Instead of an SCP-XXXX-2 instance entering, an elderly human male with signs of severe malnutrition and an unkempt appearance (later designated as SCP-XXXX-α) was seen opening the front door of SCP-XXXX-1. As the door opened, the black smoke was seen moving unnaturally fast towards the exit where SCP-XXXX-α was standing but seemingly dissipated as soon as it left the building. SCP-XXXX-α was seen coughing up smoke before collapsing presumably due to a combination of exhaustion and a mild case of
carbon monoxide poisoning. Agent S█████ was able to apprehend the target with minimal effort.

Doctor H. Ramsier:I'm afraid that's not possible, like I previously explained SCP-XXXX demanifested shortly after you came out of it.

SCP-XXXX-α:It's not going to stop… you need to let me go back… cough

Doctor H. Ramsier:Please stay on topic. Could you tell me what's inside the gas station?

SCP-XXXX-α:It is too late for me, you have to save yourself
