Special Containment Procedures: Foundation webbots are to scan popular social media sites to search for SCP-4165 instances. Once an instance is found, foundation workers are to delete the instance. Any instances of SCP-4165-13 are to be reported immediately.

SCP-4165-13-A is to be kept in a small locker, with dimensions of 50cm x 50cm x 50cm. Incineration of SCP-4165-13-A is awaiting approval.

Description: SCP-4165 is a set of twelve (12) cognitohazardous images, named SCP-4165-1 to -12, which spontaneously appear on popular image sharing and social media generally appearing within 20 hours after a previous instance. The longest spacing between instances has been recorded as ███ hours. The new instance follows no pattern.

All 12 instances lasts a set amount of time. Testing has revealed all 12 have anomalous effects.

SCP-4165-1	SCP-4165-1 is a 3-slide meme format, focused around the character "Fawe Bartt" as he speaks the language "Forbidden" during a class. To this date, no language can accurately translate "forbidden".	A wisp-like humanoid will appear, approximately 2.71 meters in length, with 4 long tentacle-like arms. It will engulf the viewer entirely. The creature will stay on top of the viewer for 32 hours before vanishing. Testing has revealed the composure of the smoke is 98% Carbon Dioxide, and it is not known how a human can survive inside of the figure. Questioning the viewer after will result in [DATA EXPUNGED].
SCP-4165-2	SCP-4165-2 is a 5-slide comic book called "Auntie Bess". It follows the short story of a young girl called "Nymph" trying to get Auintie Bess's attention. She tries yelling, smashing a plate, placing her hand on an oven stove, starting a fire and [DATA REDACTED].	The landscape around the viewer becomes identical to the one in the comic. "Auntie Bess" is also seen, along with Nymph. Notably is the lack of dialogue, despite the comic having speech. Effects last for 12 hours.
SCP-4165-3	SCP-4165-3 is a 17-second long audio file. The file contains a 13-second long whispering noise, followed by a 4-second long jazz burst. SCP-4165-3 requires 33.1KB of space to be downloaded, and cannot be sent to a USB. It is the only file with the ability to be downloaded.	A sound similar to that of a bell is sounded inside the subjects ears. The effect lasts for 96 hours. All tests have ended in the listener becoming deaf. Downloading the file results in SCP-4165-3 to be played repeatedly.
SCP-4165-4	SCP-4165-4 is an MP4 file. The video is a 34-second loop intro song of the popular TV show "SpongeBob SquarePants" show. The character "Spongebob" is replaced with president "William Henry Harrison". The video is 4:52 seconds long.	William Henry Harrison is seen following the subject over the course of 24 hours. During and After this time, the subject will fall unconscious.
SCP-4165-5	SCP-4165-5 is an artistic depiction of SCP-███.	SCP-███ will manifest behind the viewer and [DATA EXPUNGED]. Efects last for 6 seconds.
SCP-4165-6	SCP-4165-6 is a script of Shakespeare's play "MacBeth". The character "McDuff" is replaced by "Suddam Thatcher". The foundation has yet to identify anyone with the name "Suddam Thatcher".	A single CD titled "the day for love" will immediately begin playing on the reader's PC.
SCP-4165-7	SCP-4165-7 Is a CD titled "The day for love". It features a couple, Ryan and Sophie Blennold, and parents Paul and Barbara Blennold. It is a 2-hour 31 minute long movie, during which the couple go to various locations on holiday. Location varies upon every playback. Noteable places include: The United Kingdom, Hawaii, Singapore, Nagasaki and Site-██. The data is consistently 18/02/19, according to clocks in the episodes.	The area seen on SCP-4165-7 will be transformed into the area surrounding the viewer. Effect lasts for 35 minutes. Aftereffects include Nausea, Stomach cramps and discoordination.
SCP-4165-8	SCP-4165-8 is an online Ad on social media sites for a vacuum cleaner from the company El-Tech1. The add is 3 minutes and 21 seconds long	The house depicted on SCP-4165-8 is transformed into the surrounding area. A single vacuum cleaner is found in the center of the room, which is 12m x 12m x 12m. The effects last for 1 Hour.
SCP-4165-9	SCP-4165-9 is a paragraph from "Wembley Hawkins" concerning the issue of Global Warming.	The immediate area around the reader is tranformed into an ocean world for 8 seconds. Subjects have reported hearing faint whispers in their ears for up to 4 hours after reading SCP-4165-9.
SCP-4165-10	SCP-4165-10 is a painting called "Lonely lands". It depicts a blood-red landscape with a pink sky, a single grey tree sprouting from the centre of the image. The initials "A. Berthwrite" can be seen in the bottom-left corner of the painting.	the area around the subject becomes a bloodred landscape. An individual calling itself "Anthony Berthwrite" will attempt to greet themselves. He is described as being at least 1.14m tall. Effects last for 3 seconds.
SCP-4165-11	SCP-4165-11 is a photograph of a man, approximately 37 years of age, posing in front of a mirror. 3 men are seen standing behind him. All 4 faces are blurred.	3 men dressed in full black will manifest around the viewer. They will be completely immobile until 20 hours pass, at which point they will walk around the room chanting "Marcas ad Conlineare"2 for 10 minutes before expiring. Subjects have complained about severe stomach pains. 15 days after the death of the men, subject will expire.
SCP-4165-12	SCP-4165- 12 is a single image containing the words "Kein Mann ist mächtig"3 in white text upon a blue background. The image flickers at random intervals.	Subject's vision becomes static over the course of 10 days at which point the subject will expire. There is currently no way to recover the eyesight of the individuals affected.

SCP-4165 was first encountered on 17/05/██, when police reports from multiple locations came in about a smoky figure covering their spouse. The image was deleted off the website by foundation bots, and SCP-4165 was designated to the image.

Addendum 4165-01: On 17/03/██, all staff working at Site ██ recieved an email from Ryan Blennolds thanking them for the holiday. The email is transcribed below:

Hello Foundation!
Thank you for the delightful visit! Me and my wife had a delightful time visiting your site! We especially loved the attraction "SCP-███". He was such a memorable person, and we would LOVE to come again sometime! I am sending this E-Mail to all the staff for the wonderful, fantastic time.

Interviews with personnel from Site-██ report that they felt a cool breeze throughout the day near to the containment wings, Whispering and shuffling in SCP-███'s containment area. 3 reports from 18/02/19 was sent to the Site Administrator for review.

Addendum 4165-02: During tests on SCP-4165-3, an image file called "lab.png" appeared on the laptop in testing. Once the image was opened, D-4165 became aggresive, demanding to leave the testroom. When he was denied access to the door, he assaulted one of the security personnel present during the test. He was subdued and taken for interview. D-4165 was terminated following the interview.

Dr Maile: Good morning, D-4165. Do you know why you are here?

D-4165: No.

Dr Maile: You attempted to assault one of the personnel during the test. Do you have an explanation for your actions?

D-4165: I had to tell somebody about the foundation.

Dr Maile: But why-

D-4165: You don't get it. The foundation keeps completely regular people, lifeforms, in small, cramped cells to "Protect Humanity".

Dr Maile: We do protect humanity. That's the foundation's job.

D-4165: You can't keep these creatures curled up in their cells. It wont last forever.

Dr Maile: D-4165, please calm-

D-4165 stands up.

D-4165: I won't stand for this cruel behaviour. Your foundation may be doing great now, but it will not last forever.

Dr Maile: This is unhelpful. Terminate the interview.
