Object Class:Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP 4221 is allowed freely within site*REDACTED* & is considered to be low-threat.

Description: SCP 4221 is a small dissembleable clockwork duck, which upon rotating the pin protruding from its left wing an oscillation causing SCP 4221 to swim will occur. Upon taking an analysis to the internals of SCP 4221 they seem to completely oppose the motion that the legs are shown to move during testing. It would appear that the legs of the duck should oscillate the other direction causing the duck's motion to be reversed. Further testing showed that if the internals of the duck are put into another casing & run they work as expected. The same happens if you put a replica of the internals of the duck into the original internals. The irregular properties of SCP 4221's seem to only occur when the SCP is constructed with the original casing & internals.

Addendum: SCP 4221 was originally notified to the foundation after a panicked baggage handler from *REDACTED* airport rang up the foundation exclaiming that: 'The thing apposed reality' and that 'The world was going to end'. It is assumed by the foundation that the baggage handler found this during a bag check, however after questioning the victim no information has been given as to who's bag it was & even weather or not this is true. The baggage handler has been promoted to D-class personnel in order to keep his information from the public.
