Item #: SCP-5000
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5000 is locked with a singular, four-digit code lock, and is kept in a thirty meter (30 m) watch zone. No one is allowed in the watch zone, not even of the highest authority. Any persons that enter this watch zone will be terminated by sniper fire. If scratches are heard along the tin walls of the structure, personnel are to fall back to the safe zone. The safe zone is a sixty meter (60 m) boundary surrounded with barbed fence.
Description: SCP-5000 is a 5x5x5 heavy, rusted tin shed with a single door with a handle. SCP-5000 is located in █████, █████, and was found in █/██/██.
Upon entering SCP-5000, subject(s) feels a mild sense of paranoia. Scattered around the shed are small cardboard boxes (See SCP-5000-2). A foul stench lingers within SCP-5000, and as time progresses, the stench seems to get worse.
There is a faint light on the opposite side of the entrance wall, though it looks to be out of the building's dimensions. Attempts to reach this light has failed, but SCP-5000 is not deemed endless by any means. Upon exiting the 5x5x5 build, the walls, ceiling and floor seem to turn into a mineshaft, with hardwood support beams. Symptoms seem to develop the deeper a subject goes into SCP-5000. Symptoms consist of: Growing paranoia, growing light pains, blurred vision, and, in extreme cases, hallucination.
SCP-5000 seems to change as a subject travels farther into SCP-5000's mineshaft. Some are hallucinations, but some phenomenon show to be real. The sudden changes are mainly based off on the subject's fears, but there is another way SCP-5000 tries to terrify the subjects. An entity seems to emerge from deep within the shed (See SCP-5000-1, or Addendums SCP-5000-A, B, or C) that seems to have the ability to morph into other versions of itself. This entity also can manipulate their ability to morph into the subject's deep fears and phobias. Once the subject(s) turn to look behind them, they can see the exit not too far behind them, but they can't move that direction until they reach the end of the tunnel. All attempts to explore SCP-5000 fully have been unsuccessful.
