Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5666 is to be contained in a 7m×7m×3m room composed of two (2) layers.

The first one is a 60cm thick steel/luigondium¹ alloy capable of withstanding an explosion of 4,5 magatons and temperatures up to two-thousand-nine-hundred (2900) degrees Celsius, in addition a series of twenty-eight pumps per wall, spaced about twenty-five (25) centimeters from each other and one meter and twenty-seven (1,27) centimeters above the ground capable of singularly outputting two hundred (200) liters of water per minute at a pressure of about three point five (3,5) psi.

The second one is to be made entirely of luigondium, approximately ten (10) meters in thickness and separated by the other layer from thirty (30) centimeters of air. This includes roof and floor, to prevent the room from collapsing a chosen number of luigondium supports are to be put in the spacing between the first and second layer.

Every three (3) days a match is to be lit by SCP-5666 and then immeadetly put out by submerging it in liquid nitrogen. This is needed to prevent a Nucleus instance and dampen the effects of an Icarus instance. Doing this also appears to inhibit the ability of the entity to ignite objects from afar. It is also noted that if SCP-5666 EVER misses an Icarus instance then it is to be immediately transfered to Site "Vulcano" were it can safely detonate.

In addition SCP-5666's abilities do not appear to originate from its body or will but from a device in the entity's left leg, this device is to be monitored every day through X-ray scans to the leg every two (2) days. Doctors should not worry about the risk of radiation poisoning since it doesn't appear to affect SCP-5666, on a side note, neither do extreme temperature, above and below zero, seem to damage SCP-5666 in any way.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP 5666 is to be kept in a 10m×10m×3m standard humanoid containment cell with a fire extinguishing sistem capable of flooding the room with  and be provided with:

 

• One (1) fridge;

* One (1) steel bed with a fire proof matress;
* One (1) steel table bolted to the ground;
* Two (2) steel chairs;
* One (1) modified induction plate with no components capable of igniting;
*   An assortment of food between fruit meat and vegetables that should amount to a total of twenty (20) kilograms;

In addition non-fireproof objects are to be kept outside of a six-hundred (600) meter radius having it's epicentre on SCP-5666's containment cell, although to prevent a Nucleus instance and to dampen the effects of an Icarus instance it is recommended to give the subject something to ignite every three (3) days. Every conventional method of putting out fires has been deemed inefficient, only lowering the temperature appears to work, depriving the fire of oxygen doesn't have any effect and even when the oxydizer is completely used the fire will keep on burning. Heat based alarms are also to be placed in SCP-5666's containment cell since it's fires don't produce any smoke

Descrption: SCP-5666 is a twenty six (26) year old male of Italian nationality named Luigi
about two-hundred and seventy-six (276) centimeters tall and weighting around one-hundred-and-sixty (160) kg and with no fat present on any part of the body. Even when eating copious amounts of un-healthy food and not training no fat will accumulate.
SCP-5666 is also capable of lighting on fire everything it touches, the flames produced by said object will be several orders of magnitude higher than the corresponding non anomalous fire, this is to be considered a result of SCP-5666 anomalous abilities. Apart from this SCP-5666 has no other non anomalous properties.

SCP-5666 will also ignite everything flamabble in a six hundred (600) meter radius around him if he burns nothing for approximately five (5) days, although this action does not seem voluntary and knowledge of the damage caused by this will make SCP-5666 uncomfortable. —SCP-5666 presents no other anomalous properties… What?! —

Every six (6) days SCP-5666 will set itself on fire without warning and start burning with extremely high temperatures, he does not appear to do this voluntarily, in this case it is best to use the fire-extinguishing sistem. Apart from this SCP-5666 presents no other anomalous properties… I feel like something is gonna happen every time I say that.

If the anomalous fires started by SCP-5666 are not extinguished in 15 minutes they will reach extremely high temperatures the highest recorded being 600000 one-million-and-five-hundred-thousand (1500000) degrees Celsius, or the temperature at the core of the Sun. This includes instances of self ignition. The temperature of SCP-5666 's fires will rise exponentially every 7,5 minutes after the 15 minutes mark, making them extremely dangerous. Apart from this… WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE EXPLODED?!

If 7 days pass without SCP-5666 igniting anithing, a 1 megaton explosion will be released out of SCP-5666 body without any warning, throwing balls of plasma with temperatures ranging between 1000000 to 1900000degrees Celsius. This causes extreme distress to SCP-5666. To prevent further incidents all of SCP-5666's anomalous properties mus be tested on a site at least ten (10) kilometers from any abitated centre.

The Foundation entered in the possession of SCP-5666 when various calls where made to the police regarding the numerous forest fires that were raging across Sicily at the time, stating they had seen a giant set fire to a tree, or some others reporting bushes, at which point an undercover agent in the province of Lentini warned The Foundation, more precisely it's Italian division.

After the fires had been extinguised by local forces, a men covered in flames from head to toes was spotted in the burned vegetation begging for help, the flames enveloping him is supposed were burning at a temperature ranging from 1700-2000 degrees Celsius seen as he melted a steel tube bringing water to the city of [ REDACTED ], the result was a high pressure jet of water coming from the tube, the firemen on site immediately activated their pump, theoretically hitting the man with a total of three hundred (300) kilograms of water per minute, quickly extinguishing the fire.

After this, all non Foundation personnel on site was administered class B amnestics and the fires explained with a mix of dead flora and bad luck. The damage caused to the buildings hit by the flames generated by SCP-5666 is also abnormal, suggesting that the flames were burning at around 1000 degrees Celsius, about 400 degrees out of range for forest fires.

Incident report

On date15/7/2019 an unknown anomalous power of SCP-5666 was discoverd when every flammable object in a 600 m radius immediately ignited. Subsequently 5 Agents were severely injured, 2 Jr researchers and other 2 agents reported second degree burns and 1 D-class reported one degree burns. When questioned about it SCP-5666 showed uneasiness and immediately asked forgiveness but affirmed it "did not do it on purpose".

Dr. Abacchio:

It is presumed that SCP-5666 has more anomalies that we still don't know of. A site 10km away from any abitated centre is requested to study the limits of SCP-5666's abilities.

Dr. Coulson:

Request denied. SCP-5666 has not been identified as a sufficient threat to justify such an expanse. An on site laboratory will be provided to study SCP-5666's abilities if it is deemed necessary.

Dr. Abacchio:

An on site laboratory will be gladly accepted, even though we would appreciate if our request could be granted.

Dr ████: Good day Agent, could you please explain what happened on date 16/7/2019?

After a short silence Agent Di Pietro starts talking

A.D.P. : We were revisioning the routine cleaning-
Dr ████: You and who?
A.D.P. : Me and Agent Magnano were revisioning the routine cleaning when SCP-5666 started saying he was not "feeling too well"… at that point Agent Magnano got closer too see what was happening, poor bastard…

At this point Agent Di Pietro appears "absent" from the conversation and remains like this for approximately 50 seconds

Dr ████: We understand that you and Agent Magnano were close friends, is that correct?
After a small pause A.D.P. : Yes we were.
Dr ████: If you tell us what happened we might be able to prevent others, like Agent Magnano, from dying.

Agent Di Pietro straightens his back

A.D.P. : The moment Agent Magnano touched SCP-5666, SCP-5666's body lit on fire, engulfing both Agent Magnano and SCP-5666 in flames.

Agent Di Pietro takes a deep breath

A.G.P. : We immediately took action and started throwing buckets full of water on both SCP-5666 and Agent Magnano bodies. When the fires were finally put out there was no trace left of Agent Magnano but SCP-5666 had no sign of injury.
Dr ████: Did you notice anything weird apart the whole auto-combustion thing?
A.G.P. : That wasn't enough for you? Sick fuck.
Dr ████: I'm sorry Ag-
A.G.P : No smoke.
Dr ████: Could you repeat that?
A.G.P. :There was no smoke at all.

T - 5:00 :This is Resercher Abacchio talking, head of the research on SCP-5666. It's the 4° day of research and nothing has happened yet, I guess he's not that hot after all.

A couple of researchers can be heard laughing on the background

T -4:15 :Jokes aside as I have already said previously SCP-5666 is kept in a special containment cell with cameras on both floor and roof, nothing flammable is in range of SCP-5666's anomalous powers, everything is being and will be documented.
Today we are planning on having SCP-5666 light a paper sheet, an A4 to be precise, on fire and then we are going to see how much it can last before burning out.
T +0:01 : Paper has been ignited, no other anomalous properties apart from the ones already acknowledged are being registered, the temperature is about 166 degrees Celsius.
T+0:20 : All the paper has been burned and the flame does not appear to be extinguishing.
T+1:14 :All the paper has been reduced to a black dust, the flame still burns. The temperature has not varied greatly.
T +14:47 :The black dust is still there, the fire is still burning, we'll keep on going for another 10 minutes and then we'll end the experiment.
T +15:02 :The temperature has suddenly increased to 395 degrees Celsius and is still rising.
T +17:50 :A small "puff" of smoke has been released from the fire, the temperature has risen to 700 degrees Celsius.
T +22:39 : It appears the temperature rises of a factor of 6 every 7,5 minutes or so. We have enough data and the temperature is getting sereyously high, even our special material might not be able to handle it, the test is over.
