Special containment procedures: SCP-4764 is to be contained in a sealed titanium container, no less than 6 layers on all sides. The walls should be 15 feet high, and the ceiling should be 13 feet long. Camera feed is to be placed in two diagonal facing corners, so viewing of SCP-4764 is always available. Live camera feed is to be connected to a viewing room 20 feet away from the container and is always monitored by no fewer than one foundation researcher, and 1 armed guard.
The container must have a decuple locked hatch that gives access into the container, allowing SCP-4764 to get biweekly sustenance. SCP-4764’s diet now consists of Bovinae, Equidae, and Suidae corpses. One animal corpse is to be dropped into the hatch by foundation staff once every two weeks, and then the hatch is to be closed immediately and relocked.
The container must be at a constant temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, or 68 degrees Fahrenheit, as is the average temperature in Zambia (location of origination).
In the event of a breach, at least one NTF squad should be deployed, as well as evacuating the nearby area. SCP-4764 does not seem to be affected by gunfire, and can climb walls with ease, hanging for a recorded 78 hours before climbing down again. Primary goal of NTF is to use grapple guns to hold SCP-4764 in place until containment is possible (see Incident Report-1).
Description: SCP-4764 is a pail, thin humanoid entity with a large spherical head. It weighs about 71.214 kg and is approximately 3”6. Foundation personnel have been unsuccessful in their attempts to measure SCP-4764. Long flat headed teeth stick out from the gums, described by scientists as ‘bent out of shape and dirty yellow.’ The teeth show signs of rapid tooth decay but are as strong as a common spotted Hyena’s jaw. The skin seems to be stretched over its bones, but no amount of animal corpses seems to fix the weight of SCP-4764. Any more corpses than one biweekly will be left untouched by SCP-4764. SCP-4764 has two large, circular black eyes. Occasionally, a white pupil can be seen inside the eye.
SCP-4764 has large claws extending from four long fingers, roughly 6 inches long. Again, Foundation Staff have been unable to properly measure SCP-4764’s claws, as no sedatives have worked on it yet. With the power of three task forces, SCP-4764 was able to be bound together with titanium chains for 23 minutes and carried to the prepped x-ray machine. Bone structure was inconclusive, as the skin was not penetrable by x-ray.
Addendum 4764-1: Upon discovery (█/█/██) SCP-4764 vocalized the following sentence: “Vanouya kuzodya nyama yako.” Our researchers have decoded it to be the language Shona, a language in the Bantu branch of the Niger-Congo language family. It is spoken by about nine million people mainly in Zimbabwe, where more than 80% of the population are Shona speakers. There are also speakers in Zambia, Mozambique, and Botswana. It has been translated into English, “They come to feast on your flesh”. The voice emitted from SCP-4764 was arenaceous. None of the first containment team survived the encounter. A second team was deployed and were able to contain SCP-4764 briefly until a permanent container was finished being built.
Addendum 4764-2: On █/█/██, SCP-4764 vocalized once in its permanent containment cell, saying, “Vanouya kuzondiponesa. Ini ndichaponeswa kubva mukutorwa kwechipiri-chiyero chako nzvimbo.” Dr. █████ had the sentence roughly translated from Shona into English. “They have come to save me. I will be salvaged from the rubble of your second-rate facility.” SCP-4764 then broke containment 13 hours later, by clawing a sizable hole into the floor of the containment cell. Dr. █████ was found dead along with multiple other staff, large claw marks present on all bodies across the chest and neck. On most bodies, 25% of body mass was missing, presumably digested by SCP-4764. The Facility Guard and Scientist on duty of watching cameras were ██████████ ███ ████████.
Addendum 4764-3: On █/█/██ SCP-4764 was recorded using its own claws to make long cuts vertically down its legs. Reason is unknown, but due to its regenerative abilities, the wounds sealed, and this event went on for another hour.
